Wendy's — Restaurant in Barrie

I usually go to this Bayfield Wendy's location as it is just up the road from me. The past 3 times I've went, they have royally messed up my order. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt thinking that it could be new employees being trained on the job or staffing shortages. However, tonight really irritated me. On my way home from work, I decided to get myself "a little treat" . I ordered 2 cheese baked potatoes. Paid extra for the sour cream (about 2.00$ worth) 2 five piece nuggets and dipping sauce. Later, I decided to eat my dinner, only to find out that my baked potatoes were replaced by 2 burgers (which I am allergic to pickles and there were pickles on the burger so I could not even eat it, the burger also looked like it was slapped together by a toddler) 1 five piece nugget. No dipping sauce and no spur cream. I paid 19$ for something that was not my order what so ever and that I could not even eat. Saturday may 7th 2022:

Heard Wendy's had breakfast now and so decided to try it using their mobile app and was awesome. Little issue adding my prepaid visa card to mobile app buy got it added and did mobile order for classic breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg and cheese with small seasoned potatoes and coffee. Was delicious and bun is nice soft bun much better than English muffin which can be dry. Only thing is breakfast menu time very short like McDonald's, ends 10:15 am. Wish could get these breakfast sandwiches all day or till 4 pm like Timmy's!!! But breakfast at Wendy's more than worth it and competitive price. Was 8.01 for combo with tax.

Had breakfast at Wendy's again and much better, more choices available and had the breakfast wrap today and was good. Like to try croissant breakfast sandwich. As good or better than McDonald's or Tim's breakfast sandwiches. Just wish could get till 4 pm like Tim's. Robert W Martin Barrie...

This location seems to be going downhill with time. Their nuggets are frequently so dry and just looking very bad from sitting for so long. The cheese sauce used to be smooth but now it is chunky and frequently has dark bits in it. They also used to give more cheese in a bigger cup than they do now if you ask for cheese on the side on a to-go order. Not even an option to order extra cheese sauce if you order on Skip. The tiny cup is not enough for all the chips. They have sour cream as a condiment option but also 90% of the time forget to add it to the order, whether in person or through Skip, yet they charge extra for it. Having sour cream would help offset the tiny amount of cheese. Honestly quality has just slipped tremendously at this location, my friends and I used to go quite often and I'd go at least once a week but now it is basically a last resort option. I keep thinking it was a one-off bad visit but like every time I return I get the same, stale, dry nuggets and the bare minimum chunky cheese. Time to start ordering from the further...
