Oh, where do I begin with Church's Texas Chicken? Let's just say, it's quite the spot for those who appreciate not just food, but an experience 🌟. Their menu is like a treasure chest, but the real gem, at least for me, is the crispy chicken Mexican wrap. This wrap isn't just food; it's a culinary journey wrapped in a tortilla. The quantity? Oh, you're in for a treat. It's like they mistake the wrap for a suitcase and pack it for a round-the-world trip. And the sides! You get these cute little sliders of joy like onion rings, and jalapeno poppers - it's like a 'choose your own adventure' book but edible and much, much better.
Let's talk fountain drinks. It's like they've tapped into some fizzy elixir of the gods - endless, refreshing, and pairs beautifully with your meal. Now, the ambiance and the staff, oh boy! Imagine walking into a place and feeling like the most important person there - that's Church's Texas Chicken for you. Friendly staff with smiles so genuine, you'd think you're in a toothpaste commercial.
And the prices, ah, a sensitive topic, isn't it? Let's just say they're on the friendlier side of the wallet. But, and here's where I put on my 'world could always be a better place' hat 🎩, if they nudged those prices just a tad lower, we'd be bordering on nirvana. The cherry on top? Discount coupons! It's like they're saying, "Come back, we miss you already," and who am I to refuse such heartfelt pleas?
In conclusion, Church's Texas Chicken is not just a restaurant; it's a repeat destination for me. Having eaten there multiple times, I can confidently say, it's not just good, it's "cancel all other plans because we're going to Church's" good. So, yeah, very good...
Read moreHas anyone else noted the plethora of fake reviews from people based in India for this Church's Chicken? Check some of the reviewers and you'll see that a # of them have ONLY reviewed businesses in India OR have reviewed ONLY Church's chickens in Ontario. LOL.
Do a better job at purchasing fake Google reviewers who are better at hiding their true identity.
Also, they have serious issues with their ethics. Twice I've had them give me old, stale tenders that they likely made for someone else who didn't show. The 2nd time this happened I was keen to this and after I placed my order the lady said it would take 15mins or so and then an employee came from the back and whispered to her something and she changed her mind and said to me, oh no sir it's ready now. Basically she didn't realize she had old tenders that she could just pass off to me. I asked her if the tenders were old and she said only 30mins or so and I told her no way, you guys did this last time and I don't want old tenders. I'll wait for fresh ones to be made.
She ended up giving me the old tenders for free along with my freshly made tenders but this goes to show you, they have no ethics when it comes to food and will pass off old items to you easily. I've stopped going there completely and am fine with giving my business to Quik Chik instead.
Overall they've lost their moral compass and i'd advise everyone, especially Muslims, to stop supporting them just because their food is halal. We should demand and expect at least a basic standard of morality amongst our...
Read moreThis place is decreasing its quality and quantity while prices go up. I placed an order through Skip the dishes some time ago for a chicken tender combo . When it was dropped off I was surprised to see that instead of the full cardboard boxes they used to have with closable /hinged lids , they now have substituted it for a cardboard crate less than half the size of the cardboard boxes they used to pack these combos in. That crate was put in a brown paper bag which was placed in a plastic bag. It was raining heavily that day and needless to say my food arrived all wet and soggy 🙄. On top of that, I received like 11 fries ,I guess the smaller crate was strategically bought so they could give less food . Overall it would have been nice to receive my food in a proper cardboard box to help protect it from rain and snow . Sometime before this I went in for a pick up order and they served the food in the same small crate and after waiting for 20mins (with only 1 customer in store before us) I received my to go order and noticed a part of it was missing when I got home . They could also serve to improve their staff diversity quotas…also as another review pointed out, beware of the fake reviews who are likely friends of the owners. This place used to be great and in the past few years the quality and quantity has declined you can see that management is getting cheaper and cheaper now substituting paper trays fries used to come in for brown bags, and cardboard boxes for combos they now use small crates ...
