Stepping into Khazana Restaurant in Brampton is like entering a realm where culinary excellence meets cultural magnificence. Spearheaded by the renowned Chef Sanjeev, this gem of a dining spot offers an experience that is as rare as it is delightful, especially for those in search of exquisite halal options. The aura of Khazana is immediately captivating. There’s a palpable sense of luxury and warmth that envelops you, creating a perfect setting for fine dining. The decor, sophisticated yet welcoming, sets the stage for an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Every corner of the restaurant whispers elegance, from the meticulously set tables to the ambient lighting, all contributing to an atmosphere that’s both exclusive and inviting. The culinary prowess of the Chefs shines through in every dish. The menu, a testament to the art of cooking, features a variety of exquisite options, each prepared with impeccable attention to detail. The lamb chops, a particular highlight, are a marvel – tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They’re not just food; they’re a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the chef’s mastery over textures and flavors. Equally impressive is the chicken tandoori. Marinated in a blend of spices that dance on your palate, the chicken is grilled to a smoky perfection, creating a symphony of flavors that’s both bold and nuanced. The tikkis follow suit, delighting with their crisp exterior and succulent interior, making every bite a delightful surprise. The drinks menu complements the food brilliantly, with options that range from classic to contemporary, each crafted to enhance the dining experience. The Paan Kulfi stands out as a unique dessert offering, a creative twist on traditional flavors that leaves a memorable aftertaste. What elevates Khazana beyond its culinary excellence is the hospitality. The owners and servers treat guests with utmost respect and care, ensuring that every visit is special. Their attention to minor details, their eagerness to accommodate and their genuine warmth make the dining experience deeply personal and enjoyable. For families seeking halal dining options, Khazana is a rare find. It’s not just the halal certification that makes it special, but the way it’s integrated into high-quality, fine dining. Additionally, the restaurant’s catering services make it an ideal choice for family functions and special events, offering the same quality and experience in different settings. In conclusion, Khazana is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of fine food, splendid ambiance, and exceptional hospitality. It comes highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in a dining experience that’s both halal and heavenly. Whether for family outings, special occasions, or simply to savor amazing food, Khazana is a place that deserves to be visited, savored, and revisited.

We went there with high expectations because Chef Sanjeev Kapoor's name was associated with the restaurant on my wife's first birthday. After landing in Canada as a PR, this was the second restaurant we visited. The food was good that you may get at any other local restaurant. However, the service was horrible, as mentioned below: Did they have cutlery on the table before it was given to us? - No Did they serve on time? - No Did they have all the items available on their QR (online) menu? - No Did they serve appetizers after the main course? - Yes Did they clean the table and take plates after serving appetizers? - No Did they provide enough bowls and dishes? - No Did they give an excuse for staff shortage because of a big party they're prioritizing over other customers? - Yes Did they answer with attitude? - Yes Whenever we highlighted the same thing to the servers, they apologized. Still, they were ruining their apologies with an excuse of managing a big birthday party and a staff shortage. They continued with the same horrible service. The best apology is a changed behavior. *Despite this horrible experience, they added a tip to the bill without our knowledge. When we reached out to them the following day, they pointed to their terms and condition and mentioned it is mandatory. Even after providing all the relevant details, the lady on the phone informed us that she would check the camera recording and get back to us as if we were lying* *Occasion or not, DO NOT go there.* It is the best restaurant if you want to waste your hard earned money and be embarrassed in front of your friends and relatives.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience – Not Expected from a Michelin-Star Chef’s Restaurant We visited Khana Khazana at 9121 Airport Road, Brampton, with high hopes, expecting top-tier food and service given the name associated with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Unfortunately, our experience was a complete letdown. We started with Romali Roti, but what arrived was a thick, regular roti—not at all the thin, soft version Romali Roti is known to be. Upon pointing it out, they brought another, but again it was far from authentic and lacked butter. When we asked, we were handed butter on the side—which couldn’t even melt because the roti had gone cold. Even simple accompaniments like pickled onions and pickle were served on one small plate, causing everything to mix together and ruining both flavors. No server came to check on us during the meal, and they completely missed our drink order. To make matters worse, at the end, when we tried to get a server’s attention, we were made to wait while they were busy preparing for a larger group, showing zero regard for guests already dining. And when someone did finally come, we were bluntly asked, “Ready for check?”—with no follow-up or hospitality. The final straw: the curry we ordered was listed as $21, but we were charged $22. Only after pointing it out did they apply a discount to correct it. We’ve attached pictures for reference. For a restaurant carrying the name of a Michelin-star chef, this level of poor service, disorganized staff, and subpar food quality is completely unacceptable. Sadly, this visit did not reflect the culinary excellence one would expect.

Worst experience. I wish I could give negative stars to this restaurant. Please read the full review before you go. Firstly, the food they serve you will be the food that is left in the kitchen. They trick the customers and deliberately serve you the wrong order. If this is the first time you are eating here, you'll most likely be fooled. Let me break it down for you, I ordered Bhatti da murgh the first time I visited here- they served me dry starters that were white in color and I had murgh dopyaza in the main course- creamish colored. I liked the food and a girl came up at the end and offered a discount if I post a review online. Since I liked the food, I posted and left. Bill was over 75+ dollars for 1 starter-around 6 pieces chicken, 1 chicken curry and some tandoori/garlic naan for 2 people. Fast forward 2 months later, I took my parents to the restaurant, ordered 2 started- Malai chicken and bhatti ka murgh, also ordered murgh dopyaza and bhuna gosht(lamb) in the main course. They brought white pieces for Malai chicken topped with cream- these pieces were the same that were served as "Bhatti da murgh" last time. Now Bhatti ka murgh was a completely new dish that was served on a thin tandoori naan- they tricked me the first time. in the main course, they brought completely different 2 dishes that looked red- we told them that this looks like a wrong order as we ordered the murgh dopyaza earlier- we also asked what was the other dish they served. The waitress took a different name than what we ordered- we immediately asked her to check if its the right order and told her to check as we are having bhuna gosht for the first time. she fooled us and replaced only murgh dopyaza and gave us the wrong lamb dish as we were having that for the first time. secondly, lets come to the taste, horrible- it was good first time, second time starters were average but main course was pathetic. The murgh dopyaza now served was yellow- probably they mixed some other left over curry to it to increase the quantity- not sure- but it tasted different. and the other lamb curry(which they wrongly served saying bhuna gosht) was just some lamb cooked in onion-tomato gravy. We paid 150 dollars for this meal- no drinks, no sweets, no extras- nothing. Horrible, never going back!!!!!!!!!! and would highly advice you to not go back as well....

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this establishment, particularly regarding a pre-arranged party for my wedding. I would not recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event, and here are the reasons why: I made a reservation for a small wedding party well in advance and confirmed all details with a staff member named Anjali. We agreed on a per-person rate of $36 (including soft drinks), plus applicable taxes. I even submitted the final menu one day prior to the event. On the day of the event, the manager unexpectedly demanded additional payment and arbitrarily changed the agreed-upon menu, which was both unprofessional and unacceptable. The beverages served were substandard. They offered “Green River” as drinking water—an extremely low-quality option—and provided flat soft drinks from a fountain instead of canned beverages, which had been expected. This was a major letdown for guests. Despite the guest count being clearly communicated, they overcharged us for four extra people—completely outside the agreed-upon arrangement. While we were told a gratuity would be applied, they ended up charging us over $100 in gratuities without a clear breakdown or prior notice. The guest service was extremely poor and slow. Staff appeared disorganized and inattentive, which negatively impacted the overall experience. This level of mismanagement not only reflects poorly on the venue but also risks tarnishing the reputation of Chef Kunal Kapoor, whose name is associated with this place.

In summary, my experience was extremely frustrating and fell far short of expectations. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service standards. Until then, I would advise others to consider alternative venues for...
