Read moreWorst experience. I wish I could give negative stars to this restaurant. Please read the full review before you go. Firstly, the food they serve you will be the food that is left in the kitchen. They trick the customers and deliberately serve you the wrong order. If this is the first time you are eating here, you'll most likely be fooled. Let me break it down for you, I ordered Bhatti da murgh the first time I visited here- they served me dry starters that were white in color and I had murgh dopyaza in the main course- creamish colored. I liked the food and a girl came up at the end and offered a discount if I post a review online. Since I liked the food, I posted and left. Bill was over 75+ dollars for 1 starter-around 6 pieces chicken, 1 chicken curry and some tandoori/garlic naan for 2 people. Fast forward 2 months later, I took my parents to the restaurant, ordered 2 started- Malai chicken and bhatti ka murgh, also ordered murgh dopyaza and bhuna gosht(lamb) in the main course. They brought white pieces for Malai chicken topped with cream- these pieces were the same that were served as "Bhatti da murgh" last time. Now Bhatti ka murgh was a completely new dish that was served on a thin tandoori naan- they tricked me the first time. in the main course, they brought completely different 2 dishes that looked red- we told them that this looks like a wrong order as we ordered the murgh dopyaza earlier- we also asked what was the other dish they served. The waitress took a different name than what we ordered- we immediately asked her to check if its the right order and told her to check as we are having bhuna gosht for the first time. she fooled us and replaced only murgh dopyaza and gave us the wrong lamb dish as we were having that for the first time. secondly, lets come to the taste, horrible- it was good first time, second time starters were average but main course was pathetic. The murgh dopyaza now served was yellow- probably they mixed some other left over curry to it to increase the quantity- not sure- but it tasted different. and the other lamb curry(which they wrongly served saying bhuna gosht) was just some lamb cooked in onion-tomato gravy. We paid 150 dollars for this meal- no drinks, no sweets, no extras- nothing. Horrible, never going back!!!!!!!!!! and would highly advice you to not go back as well....
Read moreI had a deeply disappointing experience with this establishment, particularly regarding a pre-arranged party for my wedding. I would not recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event, and here are the reasons why: I made a reservation for a small wedding party well in advance and confirmed all details with a staff member named Anjali. We agreed on a per-person rate of $36 (including soft drinks), plus applicable taxes. I even submitted the final menu one day prior to the event. On the day of the event, the manager unexpectedly demanded additional payment and arbitrarily changed the agreed-upon menu, which was both unprofessional and unacceptable. The beverages served were substandard. They offered “Green River” as drinking water—an extremely low-quality option—and provided flat soft drinks from a fountain instead of canned beverages, which had been expected. This was a major letdown for guests. Despite the guest count being clearly communicated, they overcharged us for four extra people—completely outside the agreed-upon arrangement. While we were told a gratuity would be applied, they ended up charging us over $100 in gratuities without a clear breakdown or prior notice. The guest service was extremely poor and slow. Staff appeared disorganized and inattentive, which negatively impacted the overall experience. This level of mismanagement not only reflects poorly on the venue but also risks tarnishing the reputation of Chef Kunal Kapoor, whose name is associated with this place.
In summary, my experience was extremely frustrating and fell far short of expectations. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service standards. Until then, I would advise others to consider alternative venues for...
