Please note: This review is for Toni and not necessarily for the restaurant. Toni herself is a 10; not quite sure how I will rate this particular location on a whole. It took me a while to do this review because I don't even know if it is appropriate to mention employees' names in reviews, but I see that a lot of other people were happy with her service, so I might as well. Not surprised in the least.
I was even thinking of writing a letter to the manager about how happy I was with her service, lol. It was that outstanding. Or maybe I should say, her service made me happy. She certainly spreads cheer and joy.
I hope she sees this review. When I think of Montana's as a brand, i.e. a restaurant brand, Toni sums up exactly what I imagine this restaurant should be. Her personal style, her confidence, her service, the friendly professionalism. Everything about her says Montanas to me. It's just a vibe I can't quite explain except to use the words 'good ole'. 'Good ole' North American charm. What do they call it? 'Down home charm?' I don't know, but it makes you think of the sun setting behind snow-capped mountains, and fun-loving cowboys whoopin' and lassoin'. Yeah, that vibe!
Years ago, we had a similar experience with another server at Montanas at Trinity Common, but that was when they had that lemony rotissierri chicken on the menu. We never will forget him and I will never forget Toni.
First of all, she actually startled me a little bit because I was waiting curbside for my food and it seemed like she came out just seconds after I had sent them the 'just arrived' message. Typically, I'd be waiting so long that I would either have to go in and get the food myself or give them a call, whereupon my food would be delivered with apologies galore, lol.
But it wasn't just about her timeliness. It was also about her manner. I had also spoken to her on the phone because of some glitch in the app or whatever and I was afraid there was going to be a duplicate order. Super nice and helpful on the phone as well. Great gal!
Definitely has restored my confidence or hope in what could be or what should be or probably even what once was. That back in the day kinda feeling when manners, class, and service mattered...
Read moreI made reservations at this location after reviewing Montana’s online menu we were excited to go to the restaurant. Tammy was our server. I ordered the 12oz Striploin Steak medium rare and my wife ordered the Ribs.
When we got our food we had problems. My steak was over done, the bake potatoes were hard, the coleslaw did not taste like coleslaw.
My wife’s ribs were so dry and lacked seasoning.
I told Tammy about our concerns. Tammy seemed unbothered or not concerned about the situation. Tammy did end up taking our dishes, but she didn’t seem happy to do that.
My wife decided to get different dish instead and asked Tammy for the fajita dish instead thinking might have a better experience.
When we got the fajita it looked nothing like on the picture and had no seasoning. The fajita was very bland.
My steak came out and was medium rare, but the potatoes were hard, steak had no seasoning. Coleslaw was the same.
We were both finished with our dinner, nether of us finished our dinner. We packed it to go. And asked for the bill. Not really sure what I really paid for. Tammy collected her tip and left without saying bye.
I plan on never returning back to this location. The food expectations and service was not the greatest and needs a lot of improvements. Everyone don’t waste your...
Read moreMy friends and I reserved a table a day prior to our visit and upon our visit, we were greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile.
Steph, who was our server, was friendly and attentive. Once our appetitizer came, a Manager came out and asked us how it was and this was a nice touch to our experience. It wasn't too busy in the restaurant tonight and the speed of the service was good; we didn't have to wait too long for our entrees. Everyone at the table ordered ribs and they were juicy and tender. The side of beans was not so great and the baked potato was unfortunately quite salty. I recommend to opt out of these two and get the french fries instead.
We shared with our waitress that it was one of our friends' birthday and she brought out a little dessert with a sparkler; not necessary, but this was really such a kind gesture and the birthday girl was happy which is all that matters.
The parking is good at this location; lots of parking as it's located in a plaza which is convenient. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the inside of the restaurant looked nice. Bathroom was clean for the most part. Great experience overall. I highly recommend this location for someone who wants to give Montanas a try or wants to...
