If you do not intend to check your television within 24 hours of buying, do not buy from Visions. If there is something wrong with your tv, they will not accept responsibility. Visions Electronics in Brampton on Airport road is the absolute worst customer experience ever!!! I will never buy anything from Visions Electronic again. They have a 24 hour policy to report any damage to your tv. And the salesman does not tell you this!!. I waited a couple of days to open the box because I was waiting for some mounting hardware. When I opened the box, I noticed there was a crack on the side of the tv and the frame had a dent in it. When I looked at the box, there is a dent at the same spot where the TV was damaged…so I know 100% that I did not cause this damage. I called Visions in Brampton and they have been giving me the run around for over a week. They said that since 24 hours has passed, nothing can be done. Customer service does not do anything for you either. I went to BestBuy and they don't have any such 24 hour policy. They said that I would have 30 days to return the tv if I found it to be damaged. Visions does not even care to see the box damage to see if it was damaged on their site. They made me wait over a week to see if anything could be done. Honestly I don't even think they tried…they probably just wanted me to go away. I will make sure I post this everywhere I can, including all my few hundred followers on Instagram. I will make sure that all my friends are aware of this 24 hour policy which again BEST BUY does not have. Get your tv's from BEST BUY or you may get screwed like I did. VISIONS ELECTRONICS IS THE WORST!!! Also, by the way…do not deal with Dave the salesman….he is the worst also. And I also talked to a new sales lady and asked her if she tells the customers they they have a 24 hour policy and she he no clue about this policy. So beware of Vision...
Read moreI've been going to Visions for about a year now and the service is decent and they have some really good deals, so that is definitely a pro for the store. I went in July 18 looking for a TV wall mount for a new 43 inch tv I purchased from Amazon. My friend asked a girl at the counter and she didn't understand at first, so we rephrased it to a guy at the counter and he said ok I'll get the girl to help you. But he never told her anything so I waited at the counter like a fool while she was doing inventory, I had to send my friend to ask her for help bc clearly the other guy didn't tell her anything. The wall mounts were out of my budget, around $100 and I decided to just buy screws for the tv and custom my current wall mount. But when I told the girl that and said it was okay, it's too much for me I'm not interested, she instantly offered to sell it for $50. Anyone would think, oh sure that's a great deal, but me and my friend were appalled that they would have gladly charged $100 for a wall mount and then slash it by half as we walked out the door..I could easily find one on Amazon much cheaper, considering the one I was showed didn't even have a picture on the box or website, the girl had to show me a picture of something it looked it, you would think something worth $100 would have a picture but nah. If that really is the "in store" mark up on the product, in addition to the mark up from manufacturing, then they really trying to take advantage of that one person who will say yes on the first offer, and screw them heavy. If I knew I was walking into a flea market, I would have mentally prepared to haggle. I bought screws for $2 at Home Depot and it...
Read moreI purchased a TV online. It was delivered by Lumis I believe. I purchased it a little early while on sale as I am finishing my basement. During delivery the sole delivery individual struggled to get the TV to my door. I heard a big Bang in the back of the delivery truck BTW. Anyway I inspected the box minor damage. I removed the box cover the packaging looked fine. The screen looked fine. I repackaged the TV and left it for 3 weeks while I finished my renovation. Fast forward to the big day. Powered on the TV the screen is cracked all over. Internal nothing you can see our feel only visible when powered on. Submitted a damage claim to which I'm informed all damage claims must be submitted within 24 hours or your claim may again may be denied... Turns out may is actually will....Well isn't that just great. Called vision got customer service rep she will only read the policy to me and suggested I find a tv repair place. Thanks. Got escalated to manager who would like to help but again 24 hours issue and vision won't take a loss on the TV....I get it I guess....I guess it's my loss ($1250). So the shipping company won't entertain any complaints against them unless within 24 hours. I guess that's their way of mitigating the sole delivery individuals challenges to deliver a 65 inch tv in perfect condition by themselves. These are not small companies but they are acting like it. Visions could do the right thing here and have a customer for life or they could have a one time unsatisfied customer. Not giving up just yet.... See what happens. Btw 1 star was mandatory...
