I'm home sick from work today and for some reason I felt like looking at comments about Lee's Famous Chicken. First of all if you haven't worked at this location and seen with you're own eyes how some customers act and treat the young ladies up front, you would have a better understanding. A place like Lee's Chicken with the location they're in does get extremely busy, mind you customer service is the priority. However when you come into a restaurant any restaurant, you cannot walk in expecting YOUR ORDER to be number one, some orders do take longer when chicken has to be dropped back to back just to fill in 2 orders. Everyone there is a terrific individual, The Night Manager isn't how you think ( Real Rose ) if you take a moment and hear her out she handles customers perfectly fine, just like anyone else when you are disrespected by customers over childish things it does get the best of you here and there. DONT WALK INTO ANY FOOD JOINT WITH THE ATTITUDE (YOU COME BEFORE THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU) get that out of your head. I seen a kid throw cups everywhere just because he wasnt able to get all dark ( well in order to fill other orders when its busy sometimes they cant ) now if you were the night manager or one of the young girls up front, seeing a guy act that way over F*ing chicken would scare any girl. You if you want respect start by taking into consideration that it's mainly all wemon there ( just like any woman you see on the street...

I found the service to be lacking in quality and speed, management are not particularly cooperative with resolving issues, having a great deal of experience and being much more assertive than most I was able to have an issue resolved however not without significant effort. !!! UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE !!! I ONCE AGAIN ATTEMPTED TO PLACE A SMALL ORDER AT "LEE'$ CHICKEN" IN DUNCAN ON TRUNK ROAD AND I WILL NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN! As I had a limited amount of time in order to place an order and receive it before I would be forced to leave I specifically asked how long it would take. I was told between five and ten minutes, I replied I'm in a hurry so if you can get it done in five minutes I'll place a small order. The young lady agreed and I paid for my food only to be approached about five minutes later being told they were going to take at least fifteen minutes to complete my order and refunded my order. When I explained that I have now lost my opportunity to have a meal for a considerable period of time I was met with attitude and general rudeness. I let the staff know my review would be appropriately negative as my only experiences with this establishment have both been far from acceptable. Once again the level of filth I witnessed was far beyond acceptable, this time I have at least one photo...

I usually love this place so does my family but the night we asked for chicken burgers in the pouring rain starving at the drive thru we repeatedly asked for extra pickles no mayo over and over it was said and they agreed they got it but when we got home not only the top bun but the bottom bun were plastered with this orange mayo sauce you couldn’t even scrape it off with a tea spoon it went so deep into the bun top and bottom A hungry night in our Air B&B that’s ok everyone makes mistakes the problem was the phone call to Hayley promising a credit for the over $20 for two chicken burgers when I went yo get the credit three days later there was actually no way the cook would do it unless I had two chicken burgers and only two chicken burgers - I explained over and I’ve that I’m turned off their chicken burgers forever ( after the soaking wet orange mayo and tasteless chicken breast on it’s own) so no way could I spend the $20 plus credit in any other way !!! Finally after about half an hour a good old argument trying to rationalize what Hayley had said he ok ‘d me to get wings and water — just sayin — never ever again and do not leave the place until you check your order - happy holidays and all but we still expect to be getting some...

Came from Victoria and went there to redeem our credit which was given to us by management only to say there wasn't anything in the book. Our previous order had more bone then actual meat on the chicken. It look like they flipped through to not even care. I didn't bring in the receipt because I was told there would be pending credit for us. Also, the strawberry red headed guy said that the credit expires 6 months which was NEVER mentioned over the phone by management.I mentioned we don't travel to Duncan often and was reassured by Hailey it wouldn't be a problem. I went back to my call logs after I went home and it was a 9 minute conversation. After a female counter clerk called her manager, the best he could do was offer me a 10pc meal. They actually gave us 9pcs and I laughed because it shows their lack of attention to even do basic math. One thing I mentioned to the staff was I wouldn't come up, waste my time and gas and try and screw a company over but from other reviews, they have no problem screwing over their customers. Save your money and your time, and bring your business elsewhere. Not worth your time!

Great Service, awful Chicken. We've been Lee's customers for over 30 years and this was the worst chicken we've ever had. We stopped by on the way home on 15 Oct 2017 for 10 piece chicken take out, 2 crispy and 8 regular. The crispy was juicy but bland & lacked seasoning. The regular looked like reheated day old chicken and tasted like it too. It was very dry, stringy & chewy with some pieces almost inedible and had to be choked down. The mashed potatoes and gravy were OK. For $30, I expect a restaurant that specializes in Chicken to serve a decent product. Where is the quality control? At this rate they will be closing their doors soon.

Service was great and very attentive. Unfortunately I was VERY disappointed with the food. $36.00 6pc overcooked, dryer than a butterless popcorn f&*t. VERY small portions...(They really do grow mini-chickens). Example..I measured a chicken leg 2.5", shameful. Ribs were meatless and again EXTREMELY small portions. Hey! the sauce was to die for! There were no sides or drinks ordered or included with this complaint. I had not had fried chicken for a very long time and was really looking forward to a treat. I will not go back...ever.
