Tina Vegan Vietnamese in New Westminster is a true gem for plant-based food lovers! From the moment you step into the cozy yet modern space, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu is a delightful fusion of traditional Vietnamese flavors, all reimagined with fresh, high-quality vegan ingredients. The pho is a standout — rich and aromatic with a flavorful broth that could easily rival any non-vegan counterpart. Each bite of the bánh mì is a perfect balance of textures and tastes, from the crunchy veggies to the savory tofu or tempeh, all packed into a perfectly crispy baguette.
The variety of dishes, from rice paper rolls to savory stir-fries, is impressive, and it’s clear that every dish is crafted with care and creativity. The portions are generous, and the presentation of the dishes is as beautiful as it is delicious.
What truly sets Tina Vegan apart, though, is its commitment to authenticity. The restaurant maintains the core elements of Vietnamese cuisine — the fresh herbs, the vibrant flavors, and the balance of sweet, salty, sour, and umami — but does so with a conscious, plant-based twist that doesn’t sacrifice any of the depth or complexity.
If you’re vegan or simply looking for a healthy, flavorful meal that showcases the best of Vietnamese cuisine, Tina Vegan Vietnamese is an absolute must-try. It’s the kind of place that leaves you eager to return,...
Read more0/5 service. Workers were hidden in the kitchen chatting loudly and we had to speak quite loudly over the counter to get their attention and seat us. They are quite slow and forgetful. We asked for tea and they never brought it we had to help ourselves. They also forgot an order. Never checked on us ether. We even asked for more tea as it was out and it took so long for them we gave up waiting.
3.5/5 food. Overall tasty but relatively small portions for price in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants. We ordered both rice dishes and noodle dishes and the noodle dishes are by far superior; we ordered three different ones and all were tasty. Would not recommend the lemongrass chicken rice platter. While it tastes fine, it's not anything special or even house made. I have literally bought this same "chicken" from Safeway. For anyone who wants it, go look! The salad rolls and bahn mi were good.
The strawberry smoothie is also not strawberry but some type of juice. You can taste the apple/pear base (think of "berry flavoured" Mott's fruit snacks where they use apple and pear juice (even the colour is a full brown-pink). For 6 bucks that's not really acceptable. The mango smoothie does taste like mango and is good.

Read moreI've traveled all over the world trying vegan restaurants, and I have to say—the flavors at this place are absolutely incredible. I ordered the B2 (I can’t remember the exact name), and the faux chicken was delicious, especially with that perfect touch of lemon. What makes this spot really special is that the entire menu is 100% vegan—fully plant-based, which I truly appreciate.
I came back to Vietnamese Cuisine after my first visit and tried the B-4 Chow Mein—and wow, it left a serious impression. I was still thinking about that dish hours later, right before bedtime!
Next time, I’m definitely going to eat slower and savor every bite. The thick noodles, savory mushrooms, and tangy lemon-marinated tofu were absolutely perfect together. The flavors were vibrant, balanced, and deeply satisfying.
Whoever is cooking back there deserves serious credit—this is one of the best vegan dishes I’ve had in nearly 10 years of living in Vancouver. This restaurant is one of my favorites, and I’ll definitely be back for more.
Every order here makes a difference. Supporting a business like this helps them cover rent, pay their staff, and keep doing what they do best—offering amazing vegan food. I’ll definitely be...
