Purchased a large chicken club baguette where the bacon was raw and cold on the sandwich. I showed the owner that the bacon was raw and he told me it was cooked. After having it put in the oven for a second time I checked the sandwich and it was hot. Thinking it was now cooked I are the sandwich and after getting home I started feeling ill and had two very wet and fowl bowel movements.
Thank God my wife did not take a bite from my sandwich.
I also noticed another customer also had the same sandwich, but she was smart and removed all the meat from it. I noticed the bacon looked raw on her sandwich as well. Hopefully she did not eat the bacon and chicken.
The owner should take better care when cooking the bacon making sure it is fried till it is brown and crisp before putting it in a sandwich. Bacon that looks pink to the colour and cold is not cooked bacon and can cause bocholism.
Still feeling a little ill this morning.
I recommend patrons should stay away from this place and that the chef take better care in his cooking skills and manners.
Oh by the way my son-in-law ordered a cheese pizza and it was tasteless needed more...
Read moreWell... this place appears to be under new management. I ordered a prosciutto sandwich and might actually break my teeth eating it. The bread is hard as a rock! Does not appear to be from today. And they hiked the prices substantially. $9.99 for a half whereas it used to be about $14 or $15 for a full! I just paid $22 for a full sandwich after taxes that can basically go in the garbage. If you take on a bakery, please make everything fresh or else don't bother making it at all. You will lose your business in no time at all with this quality of food. I used to come here quite often but now will not return. There is no way an employee cutting through that bread can say it fresh. It was only noon an the bread was stale and prosciutto was already crusty at the borders as if from the day before. I loved this place. Very disappointed in the...
Read moreI don't usually post bad reviews, but this was awful and I had such high hopes... $19.99 got me a sandwich and coffee. The bread was fresh, I can say that much. But there was enough meat and cheese for half of it's size. The Uber eats menu was wrong, stating you could order a half sandwich and there was breakfast. Neither of those were true. I could not add lettuce to my sandwich and the coffee board pricing is not correct. When I mentioned this, the staff threw the "old owners" under the bus several times, even though updating a chalk price board is clearly not an old owner situation. I had breakfast here years ago and had such high hopes. Will...
