I really wish I was here to write a positive review but unfortunately, this experience was a big letdown. I want to say first that it is as aesthetic as advertised and the girls that were hired were so sweet and very helpful throughout the hour and a half. That is what the 1 star is for. I wish I could say the same about the owner, but I felt disrespected by her and did not get a genuine positive vibe from her. They LACK customer service as I have reached out twice before writing this review since visiting a week ago and have yet to receive a response. Quite disappointing but also not surprising now after reading that multiple other reviews mention the same issue.
The owner came up to my friend and me to do a personal demo and then she started talking about how she came up with the idea. Said she wanted to make a fun experience and she had not come across a charm bracelet-making experience before. She acted like the idea of a charm bracelet was her idea and that it never existed before her. However, there are many places in the US and Europe, that I am aware of, that have a similar business. I mentioned that I was recently in Europe and went to a similar place to make a charm bracelet, but was sad when I came home and couldn’t find something similar here. I also mentioned that I was so happy to have found Pure Boutique on TikTok. I was wearing the charm bracelet that I made while I was in Europe, keep in mind it’s not like I was talking about a similar shop down the street, and she then goes oh let me see. I showed her and then proceeded to say mm-hmm yep, another girl came in with one similar and it was all tarnished but ours are so much better in a judgmental tone. I thought this was rude and did not appreciate the comment when I was agreeing with her.
Additionally, when I came home I looked at the reviews, and saw someone had mentioned that the $10 deposit was taken off of each person’s bill. However, when I paid this wasn’t mentioned nor was it when we had the introduction. The receipt given at the end does not have a price breakdown, but the math is pretty simple to calculate. However, I don’t see where the money came off for the deposit. After reading that it was taken off for someone else, I am confused as to why it was done for one group and not everyone. If the fee is for the cookies and Keurig provided then I feel the fee should be added on ONLY if you DO choose to take something from the snack table and not assumed. My friend asked the owner if the food was included before taking anything and was told it was “complementary”, but it clearly was not. In this case, I probably would not have had anything because I tried to take a bite of one of the cookies and almost broke my tooth because of how hard it was. I even showed my friend and had to hit it on the table to show how hard it was. We were both put off by this.
A few people have asked me about my experience here, I told them honestly and have emphasized the disrespect and lack of response. When they looked at the necklace and the quality, they were shocked at how much I paid for it and have changed their mind about booking after all of the evidence. Especially because other reviews here have shown that these charms can be found on Temu but priced at $14.95 in store. You are better off doing a girls night at your house and buying the charms elsewhere. Overall, I was quite put off by the experience and will not be returning, nor will I be recommend...
Read moreA truly unforgettable experience! My best friend took me here for my birthday to make bestie charm necklaces and we had such a great time. From the moment we entered, we felt situated and welcomed by the warm staff. They helped us find a table and there were easy to follow instructions on each table, with all the tools we needed. The charms were organized into themes so it was easy to find ones that fit my style (for example, they had an area with sports charms, animal charms, bow charms, zodiac charms and so on). Big shout out to Jordan for always checking on us to make sure we were doing okay with the steps and showing me a few tips and tricks for tightening the little loops around the charms.
You should set a budget of at least $100 so you can get the bracelet or necklace chain, along with 4 charms. Each charm is about $15. I was able to find a bunch of charms that represented significant things in my life: a cross for my faith, I spelled out my nickname, a lemon for always finding a way to make lemonade out of lemons, a cowboy boot because I love country music and a “BFF” charm to remember this memorable day with my bestie.
The ambiance and decor is so lovely. I liked that there were mirrors everywhere so you could hold up different styles and see what they looked like. There’s also a clothing store on the other side of the charm bar with reasonably priced and fashionable clothes, footwear and accessories.
They have a little beverage area with coffee, tea and cherry colas (cherries are a big theme in the shop), as well as a sweets snack station.
When I made my reservation I mentioned it was my birthday and they had a cupcake with a candle brought out for me! These small touches made such a big difference in creating a wonderful memory that my bf and I really enjoyed.
I mentioned to the owner that I wish they had a small cross charm and she checked the back because she had just recieved a new shipment of charms. She ended up finding the perfect charm that I was looking for! Even if they hadn’t been able to find the cross charm, I just appreciated the extra effort she and her team put into creating my custom necklace.
I’d love to come back again! Thank you to the Pure Boutique team for such an...
Read moreMy mom, sister, and I decided to visit as a present to our mom for Christmas. The staff were very nice. We had a good time, but it was so jam packed. Our appointment was scheduled at 12 o’clock on a Sunday, and we sat down and waited for everyone to come that also reserved that time slot. The owner introduced herself and the staff, and went into a little detail about the boutique and what we’d be doing. She explicitly tells everyone that everything is not sourced from Temu or Amazon, and she had a local supplier who’s wonderful and sources all her charms and chains. She reiterated that it’s wonderful to support locally. There were a couple groups of 6+ people who crowded around charm tables and I could not see through them. So I had to wait until they moved to a different spot. The selection of charms and necklaces was great and there was tons to choose from depending on interests. It was so crowded though and very over whelming to try and see charms and with a time limit the pressure is kinda a lot. We finally found charms and a chain and sat down. We were shown how to attach the charms. We made our necklaces and quickly left. We got home and read some of the reviews and discovered someone who paid over 200$ for their necklace and charms found everything on Temu. I checked to see if my charm was on there, and it was along with other charms I saw in store. Everything on Temu is a fraction of the price then what’s displayed in store. My charm was priced at 20$ and on temu it’s 2.74$. Extremely disappointed to find out my expensive necklace could’ve been made at home for 10$. Very greedy and shady on the owners part to be up charging people for Temu items. Would not recommend...
