Kept coming across hair on my chicken wings. Ew.
Went for dinner yesterday and had a waitress who seemed nice in the beginning but she landed up having the worst attitude I've ever had to encounter from a waitress. Her entire attitude was a major turn off. It started off with her messing up my moms order, there was no apology at all just attitude as if she can't make mistakes ever. Then when my mom asked for mashed potatoes instead and asked for gravy on them. She proceeded to tell her that she will have to charge for the gravy, that would be understandable IF my mom was ordering an extra side. My mom explained that she ordered gravy over everything and how they messed up her order before. Not only did the waitress cut her off with a moody 'fine' she basically rolled her eyes and shook her head before storming away. She then proceeded to bring a side of gravy with the most sour look on her face. For the rest of the meal she was on and off, one second being friendly then the next being moody and actually, she barely came to the table after that. I also could have sworn I saw her making fun of my mom to her co-worker behind the bar. I told my mom to leave no tip but she landed up leaving a dollar which is still too much for how horrible this waitress was. When she picked up the plates, I can't describe what it was, but she acted as if it was such a horrible thing not to eat every bite. I get if she's having a bad day but being a server myself, I know that we must leave all problems at the door and treat guests kindly and not take anything out on them. Obviously this waitress (I learned her name was Melissa) was unprofessional and didn't seem to know that. I feel bad for whoever hired her since they probably don't realize how she can cause Jersey's to lose business with that kind of act. I came there fairly often but now won't bother going back because I would never want to have her as a waitress again. If anyone goes to eat there and sees a blond waitress with a piercing named Melissa, turn away unless you want...
Read moreI recently visited Jersey Bar and Grill and, as a fellow server, I was extremely disappointed by the level of service. It's unacceptable for staff to ignore customers waiting for a table. This disregard for basic hospitality is appalling, especially when tips are crucial for your livelihood.
More than four servers walked by without even saying hello, acknowledging us, or attempting to seat us. This lack of basic courtesy is shocking. Additionally, the phone manners I experienced were far from professional, which is detrimental for any business trying to maintain its reputation.
Ignoring customers walking through the door and those heading to the bar is inexcusable. Especially when your bar is empty and lacking customers. This lack of attention not only frustrates potential patrons but also reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. Improvements in service and customer engagement are desperately needed if Jersey Bar and Grill wants to retain its clientele. And maintain a functioning business with competent employees. Take a page out of successful businesses that aren’t situated in a poor plaza and train your servers better . Disgusting behaviour from not only the servers but also the owner who shows no shame in how he runs his already suffering business. Also let’s take in it was my first experience there and I was blown away at how horrible the service was and the lack of basic mannerisms from not only the servers but the employees, it can only reflect on how horrible the food is and how much worse condition your kitchen is kept since the whole restaurant lacks any...
Read moreI recently decided to try out Jerseys Bar and Grill in Burlington, drawn by their Wednesday wing specials and the convenience of being just up the street from me. Despite some mixed reviews online, mostly about slow service and difficulty getting the bill, I thought I'd give it a shot, thinking perhaps those reviewers were just being impatient. LOL, big mistake.
To my dismay, my experience was worse than I could have imagined. Upon arriving, no one greeted us or offered any assistance. LMAO, I thought maybe we needed to seat ourselves or go to the bar for service, but that only led to further disappointment. I was ignored by four different waitresses who made eye contact but then quickly looked away, pretending not to see me. Haha, wow, talk about top-notch service!
The lack of service was shocking and frustrating. I had hoped to find a new local spot to enjoy, but this was a huge letdown. Despite being a potential regular customer, I'll never return to Jerseys Bar and Grill. LMAO, it’s unfortunate that such a conveniently located place turned out to be such a disappointment. LOL,...
