Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Burlington

My 7-year old was craving a meat-ball sub so we stopped by the Fairview Mr. Sub location. The older male employee with a grey moustache came to the counter from the back when we walked in. I said we were going to use the washrooms first, only to find out they were vacant but locked. Obviously he knew the washrooms were locked and didn’t say anything or offer to open them! We ordered a meatball sub and I let my son pick his toppings. Like most 7-year olds, my son couldn’t make up his mind quickly regarding toppings so after 30 seconds the owner(?) said “Okay, you’re done “ and put the sub in the bag without any toppings! I should have walked out at this point but I wanted my son to have his sub. I see that many others had a similar experience at this location and likely with the same guy. I’ll never return and it’s time to retire you miserable, rude…

Oh, and spare me the standard, programmed response that you’ve left for everybody else. It’s empty and meaningless when you keep getting the same complaints and you obviously don’t care to change your attitude. Move on to...

This location is absolutely brutal. Twice now I've placed orders (thru Mr sub app and Uber). They keep their delivery open on the app's even the store is closed. Then I get charged and have to complain to head office.

They clearly have no clue what they are doing at that location.

Even on google it says they close early but delivery open till 10pm. But no one there. And it's locked

So drivers go there and cancel orders. The Mr sub app charges you immediately so you will then need to contact the head office get your money back. They brancw has a number but they aren't set up for incoming calls. Very poorly run. My first time this happened was last yr. And today it's still happening. They clearly don't change their ways even though head office said they would train them to rectify this issue.

So just be aware before making orders...

Exactly what you would expect and hope for walking into a sub shop. Fairly decent subs for a reasonable price, offering a different special everyday of the week. Today being Friday I treated myself to a footlong tuna sub which was pretty good. My wife had the chicken parmesan sub which was not bad I would say but definitely nothing will beat an actual Italian built parmesan sandwich. The store owner seems a little bit unfriendly and easily flustered. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back any time soon .
