Nestled in the charming city of Burlington, Son of a Peach Pizzeria beckons with its inviting atmosphere and tantalizing pizza creations. On a sweltering summer day, my companions and I ventured to this renowned pizza joint to indulge in its culinary delights. Despite the bustling ambiance, we were willing to wait the 30 minutes it took to secure a table on the porch, where we could soak in the warm weather and vibrant energy of the surroundings. Our anticipation was rewarded with a selection of local beers, perfectly suited to the scorching day, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Our server, with her pleasant demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu, added to the enjoyment of our visit. Her witty humor and efficient service ensured that we felt well taken care of throughout our meal, despite the restaurant's busy summer rush. As we perused the menu, our appetites were piqued by the enticing options, leading us to start with the irresistible Garlic Knots. Fresh out of the oven and generously coated with garlic herb butter and parmigiano reggiano, these knots were a culinary revelation. The indulgent combination of flavors made them a standout dish, earning high praise and a hearty recommendation. Moving on to the main event, we sampled the Wild Mushroom and Hi-Five Cheese pizzas. Despite a slight char on the Wild Mushroom pizza, the house tomato sauce and herb-infused, wine-roasted mushrooms delivered a burst of earthy flavor that delighted the palate. Similarly, the Hi-Five Cheese pizza, adorned with roasted garlic ricotta, catered to the cheese lover in me, offering a decadent and satisfying experience. While the pizzas commanded a slightly higher price point. The portions made them suitable for sharing between two hungry diners. However, we noted a minor drawback as the pizzas tended to become slightly soggy towards the end of the meal, detracting slightly from the overall enjoyment. For vegetarians seeking a culinary haven, Son of a Peach Pizzeria offers a plethora of delectable options, with the mushroom and cheese pizzas emerging as clear favorites. Despite the minor shortcomings, the overall dining experience left a lasting impression, prompting me to eagerly anticipate my next visit. In conclusion, Son of a Peach Pizzeria stands out as a must-visit destination for pizza enthusiasts. With its inviting ambiance, friendly service, and mouthwatering creations, it promises a memorable dining experience that will leave guests craving for more. As a self-proclaimed pizza lover, I can confidently say that this establishment has earned its place among the best I've had the pleasure of visiting, ensuring that I will be returning time and time again to savor its delicious offerings.

This place is such a VIBE! Its trendy... gives you a New York vibe meets hipster Toronto! It's a cute, rustic with a classy flare. Everything about this place is so inviting. It perfect for a first date, romantic/intimate dinner, a girls night out, a quick bite etc. The staff were super friendly and Attentive! Diana is art-Suchh an awesome person....Super welcoming and inviting. Everyone was Great. The food literally stands up to its reputation! Its fresh. From earth to table. Its tasty and delicious. We tried the Garlic Knots- TO FRIKKIN DIE FOR as an App! It's a MUST Have! oooozing with Flavor! The breaded Cauliflower-Speechless. NO words. Its the perfect amount of seasoning and crunch.... but the real art is in the Pizza. Never have I seen Pizzas so generous with toppings! Both Pizzas were fully Loaded. I cannot remember the Pizza names correctly but one was the Salami Honey - So Dam Good.... and my husband got a Chicken and Artichoke Garlic Pizza called Bada Boom (I am sure the name is so wrong-so sorry). Overall ....Son of a Peach was Amazing. Best Pizza I have had in a long time. Totally recommend this place to anyone I know and everyone I meet. ♡♡♡♡

Overall: 9.5 / 10 - Best thin-crust pie in the GTA? The pie is closer to Boston-style pizza (think Regina on Thatcher). Thin and crispy edges with a slight but perfect chew in the center. Up there with Descendant's, Mai Pai, Badiali, et. al and better than any pie in Windsor. My personal new #1 that's not deep dish. Crust: 9.7/10 Crispy edge yet chewy bite towards. Edges are delicious. Burnt spots and bubbles add to the effect. Similar to Boston-style crust and dough. This is the star of the show and puts Cowabunga in Hamilton to shame. Sauce: 9/10 Simple bright red sauce with very mild seasoning and sweetness. Not chunky but you can see some tomato bits. Very fresh. I personally enjoy a little more tang but can appreciate the simplicity and freshness. Cheese: 9 / 10 (could be 9.5) Very flavourful and high quality, but somewhat sparse, as the globs were unevenly spread. The shredded parm helps but more mozzarella in general would elevate this whole pie. Toppings: 9/10 High quality and good portions. The hot honey combo is very nice. All the options are worth trying. Lots of seasonal feature options as well. Overall: 9.5 / 10

We ordered takeout online. Very easy ordering system. They kept everything warming and waited to pull it until you arrive; that’s a pro move.

We ordered a spicy salami & wild honey pizza, a little miss potato, wings, and bombolini.

The spicy salami was great. Right amount of sauce, a perfect sprinkle of cheese, and loads of salami and honey. The heat builds in the back of your mouth and was a lovely slow burn. So good. This already feels like a favorite.

Little miss potato is a tasty pizza, and I don’t typically like white pies. The meat adds a salty note to balance it out so be prepared to offset seasoning if you order a veggie version. We did find a clump of potato slices in the center that didn’t get a full cook so they were a bit too toothsome, but it was clearly bad luck that they overlapped in a bad spot. I’d order it again and I’m sure it would be spot on.

We found the crust to be really well cooked. They got it to the edge with a nice crisp bottom and browned crust but not actually charred. Really impressive and just how my wife likes it. The dough itself didn’t have the complexity of some places who do overnight ferments and blend different flours but it is a clean, traditional pie base that lets the toppings shine.

Ok, I hid the headline: The. Wings. Just stop it. These were to die for. They had a crispy exterior that’s not just a deep dryer trick and isn’t breading. It must be some kind of corn starch, rice flour magic or something. The crunch was out of this world. The sauce was a beautiful balance of sweet and savory. Great cook. We have ordered wings at a hundred places in Burlington and these are the gold standard. I understand the restaurant name now because after each bite I kept mumbling “son of a…” to myself. Get some. I already need another order.

The bombolini was tasty. Great value. Lovely way to end the meal even though we were stuffed.

Customer service for takeout was great evening though we arrived in the middle of the dinner rush and the place was hopping. Atmosphere inside was upbeat and fun. I kind of wish we didn’t have the dog in the car and could have stayed!

Definitely recommend. Go. We might see you there. And save...

My son had recommended eating at this location due to the quality of the food. He was absolutely right, the food was amazing. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the service. We ordered a very simple menu. One appetizer and a main dish each with my wife. We asked to sit out on the patio and we were promptly greeted by our server who seemed really nice. She took our order and brought our drinks. While we were waiting for our meal, we noticed a lot of bees around the tables but continued to wait. After what was at least 25-30 minutes our server came out with our main dishes. She told us that our appetizer was not ready and suggested the we start with our main dish. I don't know in what world you would start first with the main dish then go on to the appetizer . I refused obviously. Do to the pesky bees we asked to be seated indoors. We were given a table pushed up next to the bar, which I kindly refused and asked to sit next to the window which was available. Our server said we could not sit there because that wasn't her section. I insisted so she agreed. I asked her to bring our drinks and plates but she said I would have to wait. I got up and transferred everything to our new table. After about 40 minutes now in total, our appetizer was finally served and shortly after our main dishes. Here is the kicker. Half way through our meal, our server came to our table while we are still eating and asked to settle the bill because she had to leave. WOW!!! I had to stop with my meal, wipe my hands clean to reach for my wallet to pay the bill and then continue with my meal. OK, so I did. Did anyone ask if I wanted dessert, or if there was anything else the I might want. No. We quietly finished our meals and left. Just so you know, I still tipped our server my normal 18% . Oh yah, she did give me a free appetizer on my next meal to make up for everything as if I will ever return. I apologize for the long review but I just had to include all the details. I still recommend "Son of a Peach Pizzeria" only because the food was amazing. Best pulled pork sandwich i have...
