Subway — Restaurant in Burlington

As others have pointed out, this subway can be stingy with their toppings. I’ve had a couple of negative experiences with the guy that always works there.

One time he physically counted out 4 small rings of banana peppers and spread them out then looked at me like that’s enough on a footling sub!

Another time he gave me a couple of small pinches of shredded cheese which couldn’t have weighed more than 5 grams. Then proceeded to argue with me I need to pay for double cheese if I wanted more. He reluctantly gave me a little more after I threatened to walk away.

It’s like he’s paying out of his own pocket for the product. I have no desire to argue about petty things like this on my lunch break. This is never really such an issue at other subways in Burlington...

Walked in with 2 subway coupons that we were using separately and paying for separately but was told they will not take the coupons as it’s only one coupon per visit. We explained we were separate and paying separately but she continued to refuse us service. Then the employee started saying the coupon was not valid, yet the coupon said it was valid Jan 2nd-Feb 12th. I showed her that it’s January 2nd-Feb 12th and then she told me the coupons are not valid and the store isn’t participating in accepting coupons. How does a SUBWAY not participate in SUBWAY COUPONS?
