Tamp Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Burlington

I’ll travel 27km one way just to get Tamps coffee. Their product is hands down great tasting. The sad part about their place is the staff. Their very cold, no communication with their customers and all lack persona. Some staff have been there quite some time and I’m not sure why. The newer ones are very rude and the last two times there were mistakes made with my coffee (Charged me for turbo, gave me a small. Totally different latte from what I ordered) I asked politely for them to correct it for me and I got the look of death both times. The girl slammed down the coffee without even calling it out and when I asked her if it was mine, she looked at me and said “yeah” as if I was an idiot. Too bad their not more selective wth their choices of staff. Place is really beautiful and product is awesome. Guess I’ll have to change my nice ways and give them at taste of their own medicine...

Americano customer & occasional Banana Bread buyer. Tamp has a lot to offer!

Americano is my drink of choice, I really enjoy the taste of the bean they use and find it offers a ton of flavour. If you are a Tim Hortons or Starbucks drinker you should notice this difference immediately, for the better.

Consistency is the one thing I wish was easier to control. Some days the flavour is on point and some days I find the extraction is a bit off (for my personal taste). There are so many variables from day to day and barista to barista so I understand the challenge.

If I could change something, I would increase the size of the snack display and the selection (space is tight though). Every snack I've had so far was good so I think there is some more opportunity...

Look, I am not a coffee snob, or a connoisseur. I do like to make espresso at home, and I do like to try different coffees, different beans, so I have some** familiarity with the coffee 'n bean scene. But what I will say, is when you order a coffee from TAMP, you suddenly realize what coffee with a "full-body" is all along... Had the cappuccino once, now addicted. Don't know how they get so much flavour, balance, out of their beans. They're doing something right. Not exceptionally more expensive than any(many) other coffee shops, so no major issue here. Amazing cup of coffee, great balance, not super acidic, smooth-body and packed...
