Super Solid poutines. Hand cut French fries, fried to perfection - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Soaks up the right amount of vegetarian friendly gravy but still leaves a nice crispy texture. The cheese, oh the cheese! A plethora of them that melts and oozes between the fries and gravy - a perfect distribution in each bite! I am all about the perfect bite, every bite. Johnny is also so very nice, super chill, great convos. Thanks for the chat - I learned a lot! Definitely recommend and will come back to try their other goodies!

The poutine is consistent every single time I go and delicious. Definitely one of the best poutine in Burlington. I agree with others that the gravy is a tad salty so I usually get the smaller size and a drink to combat that. For some reason the past few times I've gone I haven't been able to get onion rings. I don't think he was sold out but just didn't have enough staffing to make them maybe? In any case, the fries are so good that it doesn't really matter. I keep coming back for the yummy poutine.

On a recommendation, myself and some coworkers decided to go get poutine on our lunch. The guy working the stand was incredibly rude from the start. He asked one of us if it was just her on one bill, she said yes just me. Then we waited five mins and finally tried to order and he said “she said it was just her”. No biggie, small misunderstanding. I ask if he can do a bacon poutine and a burger he says “sure why not”. Then I go to pay (and I was actually trying to leave a custom tip) but he took it away super fast and then AFTER I tapped he asked if it was debit- then said I just cost him 3.50$. I saw the sign later, but it wasn’t very visible from the other side of the truck. Had he asked before I tapped, I would have grabbed my debit. At this point, I tried to apologize and was looking for change in my purse to cover the fee, but he dismissed me completely and told our other coworker that her poutine would be cold because she told him we weren’t ordering.

Then he says “here is the receipt for you food”, so we grab it. He then gets mad that we grabbed the receipt and he needs it to make the order? To top it all off- he got the order wrong in the end. Which honestly isn’t a huge deal (bacon on the burger instead of in the poutine) but he huffed like it was my mistake and not his. At that point I just wanted to get out of there lol

The poutine was actually really good, and when we mentioned it to our coworker she was extremely surprised because this truck has been around forever. I chalked it up to just a bad day, but after reading the reviews and the owner’s replies to anything negative
. I think this is just normal behaviour. We all left feeling a little dumbfounded because it all seemed so aggressive for no reason. We all have bad days but with so many reviews mentioning the same thing, you would think they would try to improve.

Anyway, long story short, the poutine was good- and if you don’t mind it coming with a side of attitude- then you’ll be...

Good food HORRIBLE attitude, service and rudeness

I used to be a frequent loyal customer and generous tipper.

I've been waiting 9 months to write this review, to see if I would feel any different. I still feel the same and have NOT been back.

I did notice attitude and unfriendliness to other customers, but continued to go because it wasn’t directed at me (loyal customer)

Once it was directed at me, that was my last straw.

Here's what happened my last time going: I was walking my dog and baby and ordered a poutine and hot dog Normally he gives bags, but didn't this time and left the food on the ledge I asked "it’s ready?", he yelled "yes!" with attitude and rudeness (to me a loyal customer that just tipped him infront of other people)

I asked for a bag, because I was walking on the sidewalk He said to his son "give him a small bag, he's gunna kill a whole dam TREE". In front of other customers, it was so awkward and weird

He put my poutine in a small bag but left my hot dog OUT! How do you run a takeout restaurant and not give bags? (or give bags with nasty comments)

I walked home holding the hot dog with car exhaust all over it, ended up throwing it out

NEVER been back.

How does a business treat loyal customers like this?

I regret giving him my business and tipping...

"Long strings of goodness" .. ok... lol

We definitely won't be supporting a disgruntled business owner who can't take constructive feedback. Tu peux ben avoir des bonne frites mais ton attitude en dit long... ca aurait été la derniÚre fois pour nous surtout aprÚs avoir lu d'autres commentaires.

Went recently and noticed a hike in price Just a few months ago (less than 3 months) it was 12.99 for a large poutine vs now 14.99. That's crazy ...and for the extra 1 (one) ...đŸ„Ž slice of bacon was 2$ ... honestly fries are absolutely amazing probably the best around and so is the gravy but the price hike is crazy for a food truck. Edit... I believe the 14.99 was with the bacon so I was wrong on the price increase.

Not a fan of the shredded cheese mixed with curds. If you say you're serving Quebec poutine please go to any belle province in Qc who uses fresh fries and you won't see shredded cheese on any poutine. I am from Qc and have never seen that before...my guess it keeps the costs down.

Also the staff should really wear gloves. They use an ice cream scoop for curds but then they use hands to top it up and spread around evenly ... that threw me off a little and i wasn't quite pleased that they'd use their hands without gloves to...
