Wendy's — Restaurant in Burlington

We regularly stop at this location (at least once a week out convience) Service is always slow. The drive thru is awful. Staff is unfriendly. But today was the last time. My son was driving through the drive through, ordered his meal. Got to the window, handed the cashier his gift card. They took it only to come back to tell us that their server went down two days ago and we can come back and use the gift card in two days and asked for another method of payment. At this point I pointed out that this problem was not indicated anywhere on the sign nor mentioned at the time of ordering. The cashier who we later were told was the manager admitted that it wasnt. Yet continued to ask us for another method of payment. - sure! We could have paid with our debit. But it comes down to principle. My 17 year old son was given the g.c for his bday. He shouldn’t have to pay for the managers mistake and poor communication. His meal was not offered to him. Was just told to come back in two days. Safe to say we will never visit this location again. Went in this restaurant on May 25th at 9:00 p.m. I ordered two double jbcs and a medium fry I got in the car and my fries were cold I went back into the store and complained and they gave me another medium fry as cold as the first one.. not to mention I watched the girl take an order of fries that were sitting in a cardboard container for at least 8 minutes dump them back into the fries that were cooked in the bin waiting to be divided out and put the cardboard that had the fries in it back in the holder for someone else's fries, I looked right at her and said that's disgusting and she continued to put the frie holder back instead of throwing it in the garbage. She did not even care that I was looking and she did not even care that I said that that was disgusting. I go to this location once or twice weekly and prefer to go when it is not the lunch hour rush as the drive thru gets very busy. The value for money is exceptional, no other fast food joint can match these prices. I can get lunch for under $10 and be satiated. I have gotten some of my co-workers on board now too. The salads are exceptional and you probably couldn't make a salad for the price of theirs. A favorite combo is the baked potato and chili, pour the chili into the potato and it is epic!

What also stands out to me are the drive thru staff during the weekday lunch hour, they are so genuinely friendly and kind, and they remember their customers which says a lot. Keep up the great work, I always feel great...
