Very mixed impressions. The interior is lovely, and the food was truly excellent — everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the service left a sense of disappointment.
I came in advance to arrange a reservation on the terrace. Everything was clearly discussed, and I was assured that in case of bad weather, we could move inside. However, on the day of the visit, I was told that the terrace is never reserved. I was asked to wait about 20 minutes while they decided what to do with the guests already seated there. That was unexpected and unpleasant — especially considering it was my birthday.
I asked for appetizers and prosecco to be served ahead of time, but after that, we were completely ignored. No one came to our table for nearly an hour. I poured the prosecco and water myself. I asked three staff members for a vase — none brought one, and I was later told that they don’t have any at all. We placed the flowers in an empty prosecco cooler, and at that moment, the manager approached us — not to offer help, but to question why we were using the cooler “incorrectly.”
What made it worse was that during this situation, the manager and waitress began speaking to each other right next to our table — in their own language — without addressing us or explaining anything. It felt extremely disrespectful. Instead of a conversation, it felt like we were being talked about behind our backs, and no one was willing to clarify anything directly.
Later on, the waitress did try to smooth things over and, as an apology, my salad was removed from the bill — which I appreciated. But the overall experience was already spoiled by that point.
Altogether — the confusion with the reservation, lack of basic items like a vase, absence of service for long periods, the inappropriate reaction from the manager, and the closed-off communication from the staff — left both me and my guests feeling disregarded. This was especially disappointing given the high quality of the kitchen.
I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements — not only to the service, but to the organization of the restaurant as a whole. The kitchen deserves real praise. But unfortunately, good food alone is not enough to create a positive...
Read moreWow. Wow. WOW! I was a server many years ago and I can honestly say I dont think I have ever had an experience like this. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a lovely hostess who got us cozied up in a spot with a view for my daughter and best friend.
We ordered our first cocktail and the cocktails were delicious. Our server was on point and we were able to ask about a modification or two as we have a gluten allergy. It was no problem to modify some items that we needed and that made the experience all the better!
The appetizers were delicious and upon eating those out of nowhere one of the chefs came directly to our table a dropped off a plate of fries from the kitchen for my daughter with ketchup. She was thrilled and I couldn't believe they thought to do that.
There were multiple check ins by the hostess the manager the server and even the chefs. The chef came out AGAIN and had two mini chocolate balls for her ready to go without being asked and it just was the icing on the cake for the experience.
The ambiance was so nice the staff were all happy zipping around and you could see all staff members working together to attend to the tables. The patio is incredible and I cant wait to be back.
Thanks to everyone for a memorable experience its my new favourite spot to go to and I cant wait to bring some other friends with me. Might not tell everyone... I dont want everyone finding out about this best...
Read moreMy friends and I were visiting from Vancouver and we tried to order take out as one of us was not feeling well. We tried calling and right away it says “voicemail is full” which is fine, however, we went to the restaurant to place an order. We placed our order for 3 pastas, a salad and some foccacia- to be fair we were expecting to wait about 15-20 minutes or so as told by the waitress. However when looking around, the restaurant itself was not busy & we started wondering why our food was taking longer. In total we waited 30-40 minutes for our food- the truffle pasta tasted like nothing, the seafood pasta was undercooked and the foccacia bread was also undercooked. Apart from the long wait - there was absolutely no customer service support or apologies given. As people who are visiting, we hate to leave reviews like this on a local place but we felt compelled to do so because there is no other way to provide feedback back to the business. The ambiance is lovely- you can get all the views you want but if the food is costing you over $30 bucks per plate and the customer service was not the greatest, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends. Here’s the photo of my truffle pasta alongside the seafood pasta and Caesar salad. We tried to stomach as much as we could but it...
