Yemeni Village Restaurant features traditional Yemeni dishes and flavors. They serve many dishes that include rice, chicken, beef and fish. The style of food is middle eastern. However, the food is more exotic than other well known middle eastern foods.

The location is a tad bit difficult to get to. It is located on a one way street and has very few parking spots. Making it a difficult location to get to by car. The outside of the restaurant looks like a house. However, the inside of the restaurant is spacious and well decorated.

The flavor of the food was alright. The rice was well seasoned and the chicken was properly cooked. Yemeni Village Restaurant served a full chicken on a bed of long grain rice. The chicken was served on a silver dish with a silver lid. Paired with the chicken is a dipping sauce. Unfortunately, the chicken was served at room temperature and was not as hot as desired. The sauce was leaking in flavor and came off a little bland.

The other dish was a sizzling plate with thinly sliced AAA beef and other mixed vegetables. The seasoning and flavor of this dish was much more intense than the chicken. There was a bountiful of spices used when making this dish. The sizzling plate is paired with a large round Naan bread. Customers will scoop some of the beef into the Naan and eat it as a small wrap. This allows for the crunchy texture of the toasted Naan to combine with the well seasoned beef. Similar to the chicken, the Naan was a little cold when arriving to the table.

The service was disappointing. They only came to take our order, drop off food and deliver the bill. Not once did they check to see if there was enough water or if we needed anymore sauce. This is based on an empty restaurant, not a busy one.

The price was average. For the portions served, the price wasn't expensive but it wasn't cheap. Each dish could served 2 people. Otherwise, the restaurant would be quite expensive to dine at.

Overall, Yemeni Village Restaurant is average. The flavors were all there, but texture and hot food are important. If the temperature of the food and the service improve, this would be a good place to enjoy more traditional middle eastern food. Do give it a try if you are looking for...

I went last night for supper ! After 2 years it was my first time getting back to this restaurant! Unfortunately things got changed and kinda disappointing! After waiting long time , They brought us cold soup , cold meals ! Waiting for staff to come back for extra spoon and finally I decided to get up and ask staff personally ! I would say bread was great but service was not satisfying at all ! I have also received a message from the owner to call someone! I dont have time to call and complain about your service as it is not the way you should resolve the issue

I have received a message saying I have never been in your restaurant! I must clarify that while it was my friend who paid for the meal, I was indeed present during our dining experience. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

I appreciate your offer of a refund and the explanation regarding the new staff under training. However, I must express my disappointment with the insinuation that I was not present during my visit. I must also point out that stating with certainty that I have never dined at your establishment seems presumptuous. Have you ever met me? Do you know me? Making definitive statements about a customer's visit without proper evidence is unfair and unprofessional.

Instead of focusing on whether I dined at your establishment, I urge you to direct your attention towards improving the service quality for all customers. Constructive feedback and opportunities for improvement are always welcomed by patrons. However, accusations and implications of dishonesty only serve to create unnecessary tension and conflict.

As a customer, I value transparency, respect, and professionalism in all interactions. I hope that moving forward, we can address any issues or concerns in a more constructive manner that fosters a positive relationship between your business and...

A Delightful Taste of Yemen at Yemeni Village - Thank You, Sumya!

My visit to Yemeni Village was an extraordinary culinary adventure, greatly enhanced by the warm and exceptional service provided by Sumya.

Yemeni Village offers a wonderful array of traditional Yemeni dishes, each bursting with rich, authentic flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, capturing the essence of Yemen's vibrant culture and hospitality.

What truly set my experience apart was the attentive and friendly service from Sumya. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations that helped me navigate the diverse options. Her suggestions were spot-on, allowing me to enjoy a range of dishes that were both delicious and a true representation of Yemeni cuisine.

Sumya's professionalism and genuine warmth added a personal touch to my dining experience. Her enthusiasm for the food and her dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction were evident and greatly appreciated.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Yemeni Village to anyone seeking to explore the flavors of Yemen. The food is a delightful journey for the palate, and the hospitality, particularly from Sumya, makes the experience truly memorable. I look forward to returning and enjoying more of their...

When my party of five arrived at the restaurant around 2 pm for Sunday lunch, we found that it was very busy and we had to wait a long time to be seated. Although most of our orders arrived on time, one of our party's meals was significantly delayed, which was very disappointing. The food itself was enjoyable, but it was served somewhat cold which detracted from our overall experience. Despite our attempts to flag down our server, our friend's meal took over an hour to arrive, by which time the rest of us had already finished eating. With only one waitress serving all the tables, it was clear that she was stretched thin and struggled to manage everything. We had to ask for water twice before it was finally brought to our table, but it was too late by then. To top it off, my dessert order of Masoon took more than 30 minutes to arrive and didn't look anything like the picture on the menu. Furthermore, I found the taste disappointing. Overall, the service was the worst I have ever experienced at a restaurant, and there was no apology or acknowledgement of the terrible service from the staff. I would not return to this establishment in the future.
