Wow. In all my time getting prescriptions from the big guys (Safeway, shoppers etc.) I have never once been served by a pharmacist that cares about me to the same degree as a doctor does. It's always the assembly line-like service where I'm told to get lost for 20 minutes and come back and grab my meds and pay. That's it.
I was having trouble with my insurance policy, and I went to two different pharmacies where the pharmacist there "couldn't figure it out" and I was left with a huge bill for meds I need to take every day.
The pharmacist and owner of Cafe e-Rx took my insurance information, treated my girlfriend and I with a complimentary coffee, figured out my insurance info, AND recommended a cheaper, longer lasting equivalent to one of my current prescriptions.
This experience left me with a bill less than 10% what I pay without insurance, and with complete faith and trust in this pharmacist and the fantastic business he runs

Read moreThis cafe is part of the pharmacy and you need to enter through the pharmacy. You get a discount if you're a pharmacy customer. It's great, I have ADHD so I'm bad at remembering my meds until I run out, they'll have them ready for me. So I'll run in kinda frazzled, my meds are ready and I can get a nice Carmel latte that happens to be the cheapest in town.
They are super nice and welcoming to everyone! so if you put people into a class system, this probably isn't the place for you.
