Good pizza , but pizza ordering system needs some work . We ordered through the online system where you take a picture of the QR code on the table . We got there about 5:30, order was sent through but then I realized ..āhow do they know our table number ā?
So I went to the counter and asked a girl working how they would know my table number and she said I had to put it in the ānotesā section , and I said I didnāt know that, so she confirmed my order and table number right there , with a bit of an attitude, but I let it slide as I saw they were very busy .
I was getting concerned because we had been waiting over an hour and people had been served before us, so my husband inquired and a nice man apologized and said the printer stopped working and theyāre playing catch up, and our pizzas were done awhile ago but they didnāt know what table they were for so they thew them out.
So my first question is ⦠A. I told the lady what my table number was, so she should have known as we were sitting right in front of her for an hour, so she definitely knew we were waiting .
B. Iāll give her the benefit of the doubt and say maybe she didnāt put two and two together but If you didnāt know what table they were for , why not just come out and ask a few tables ā. Are you waiting for a pepperoni pizza perhapsā?
Regardless, the Manager was very apologetic and he did give us a free pizza coupon for next time which I really appreciated.
When we finally received our pizza after 1.5 hours of waiting , the same girl that I told earlier what my table and order was, delivered our pizzas with no apology at all, just dropped off the pizzas and left with no words .
I understand people have bad days but all she had to say was āsorry for the waitā, and I would not be here writing this right now . Itās that simple . An apology goes a long way.
Anyway , after all that , the Manager was very professional, kind , and understanding , which I really appreciated , and the pizza was very good , so I will definitely be back for my free pizza in the future, as I believe we should all be given a second chance at a first...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were a table of three, and came for the pizza and Two House beers. Been here a few times now.
I always order the Carne, my girl had the Pinnochia I think (pistachios and fennel) and our third had the Burrata. All the pizzas looked and tasted amazing. We had chili oil and chilis on our table as well which was great! Would have liked parm and pepper/salt also. Pizzas were around $24 each, but were a good size and more then I could finish in the sitting.
The ordering system for these pizzas is different and not ideal. Being two companies under one roof, you have a server for the beers and order online for the pizza (or at the counter). Seems simple, but the sign up on day one is a bit more than you may want. Putting in your details etc for food isnāt really what I want to do, its invasive. You also pay up front for your food, which kind of negates the whole ātip for given serviceā system. That normally hasnāt been as issue except for today. My girl got her pizza about 15 minutes before the other two came out. She sat without touching it until ours came, for manners. I wasnāt too happy with that. She went up to ask when the other pizzas were coming, which we shouldnāt have to do. We paid and tipped up front, come on guysā¦
The pizza is amazing but the service needs a tweak, I donāt feel we should assume great service and tip accordingly, only to have a disappointment. To be fair, thats not how tipping should work. Todays experience may impact...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis makes me really sad to write this one. This was my favourite pizza place but holy has it gone to hell. Was here a few weeks ago and the pizza took over 2 hours as they prioritize takeout orders first and not the customers in house. When the pizza arrived it was burnt to a crisp. Decided to give it another try today as itās my favourite pizza place as I have a gluten allergy. Gluten free crust wasnāt showing up on the app when I tried to order from my table so I went to the counter to order and they assured me they still had it and placed the order and took my payment. 45 minutes later they came my table to tell me they didnāt in fact have any gluten free crust available. Offered me a salad instead which is not quite the same ⦠Told me they would process a refund, we sat for another 30 minutes and no one came. I finally went to the counter to get my refund and they were only going to refund the food amount and keep the tip. Took them another 10 minutes to figure out how to refund the tip. Safe and very sad to say this was my last visit which is incredibly disappointing as this is the only place that doesnāt make GF pizza taste like cardboard. Also will add the place was not busy and there were 14 people working, no excuse for this...
