I recently visited Eight Coffee in Calgary, hoping to enjoy a great coffee experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I ordered a latte, and while it was well-presented, the flavor left me a bit underwhelmed—it tasted rather bland and lacked the richness I usually look for.

Initially, I had considered purchasing some roasted coffee beans to bring home, thinking it might be an opportunity to explore their offerings further. However, my interaction with the staff left me feeling less inclined to do so. The staff member I spoke with didn’t seem particularly welcoming or enthusiastic, and that lack of warmth made the experience less enjoyable overall. It’s always nice to feel a personal connection or friendliness when visiting a coffee shop, and sadly, this visit didn’t provide that.

On a positive note, the ambiance of the cafĂ© was decent, offering a cozy space to sit and relax. Despite this, the combination of the average coffee and less-than-friendly service led me to decide to explore other coffee shops in Calgary instead. With so many local spots known for their excellent brews and inviting atmospheres, I’m optimistic about finding a place that better aligns with my...

This is a lovely cafe that I like to stop at for a morning treat on my way to class!

Their standard fare coffee and teas are good, however they distinguish themselves from other cafes with their incredible specialty drinks/lattes!

The Multigrain Latte is so incredibly good, and it is not something I’ve seen served at any other cafe in the area.

Today I tried the Honey Oat Hojicha Latte and it is now my favourite drink. The combination of flavours is perfect, a great non-coffee, non-dairy alternative to a classic morning latte.

Their baked good are also delicious and have saved me many times when I run out the door without eating breakfast.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, the vibe is nice and seating is perfect for studying or catching up with a friend.

I also love the logo branding on the cup, very sleek. People always ask me where I get my drinks from when im carrying a beverage from Cafe Eight!

Thank you Cafe Eight for the delicious treats and...

I was passing by 8 Ave in down town and the smell of coffee that was so delicious led me here.

As soon as I entered the store, I was already satisfied with the cozy atmosphere and coffee scent. I ordered cappuccinos and chocolate cruffles, and they were very professional.

Less than a few minutes later, the cappuccino and chocolate cruffles I ordered came out, and they kindly brought me to the seat where I sat.

The aroma of coffee stimulated my flavor, and the foam was very soft. The chocolate cruffle was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and showed off a great taste.

It was a very satisfying day to find a place that sells the most delicious coffee and dessert in downtown. I'm willing to visit again, and I won't hesitate to recommend this cafe to...

This is a chic and modern looking cafe with delicious coffee and mouth-watering croffles. The menu is beautifully set to accommodate your sweet and savoury cravings. The service was quick, and it was done with care. The staff were friendly and patient as we decided on our order. I got the dolce latte with oat, the chocolate croffle, and cinnamon-walnut croffle. The latte had just enough sweetness. The croffles were absolutely delicious, crunchy, and light. The chocolate croffle had marshmallows in it as well, which made for a nice little burst of happiness in your mouth. The cinnamon-walnut was simply everything it described it to be and more. I would highly recommend this place for a quick grab if you're on the go or to sit down and enjoy a nice light meal.

We liked our breakfast, just feel less welcome when we first stepped in to the cafĂ©..😅 When me and my partner stepped in, we wasn’t greeted by the staff, they just looked like us with a slightly “oh, two Asian” glimpse then continue their chat. While we were waiting our orders, we saw every other Non-Asian-looking customers were greeted with warm, friendly “Good morning 😊“ and smiles, then we started to realize that we might be considered not necessary to be served with the standard welcoming
. I don’t want to put this in the discrimination way, just leave this comment to point out that we sense the treatment difference, which we think it is not so fair to let your costumers feel that.
