Nice enough looking place with a small appealing menu, I ordered a latte which arrived lukewarm and rather insipid tasting. My wife tasted it and agreed with my rating she ordered a pear martini which was delicious. My wife ordered the 1\2 Korean BBQ chicken which arrived piping hot and was delicious. She ordered the fried rice, carrots and kale and she said they were also delicious. I ordered the meat and cheese small plate, the cheese was disappointing with two small pieces of brie, 3 of Gouda and 2 of gruyere. The gruyere wasn't really ready for a cheeseboard. 2 different types of salami and some prosciutto with some crostini which was burnt made up the rest of the board at $22 not at all up to scratch. I also ordered duck confit tacos. They arrived cold including the filling. The server took them away straight away. I was hoping to get them back hot but the chef sent the server back to explain that because the soft tacos were served cold the filling would be cold and that's how it was served (confit duck is poached in oil and is pretty greasy when cold) they asked me to order something else, I ordered the poutine which was excellent. We skipped dessert. If I had just ordered the chicken this would be 4 stars but it was let down by the cold tacos, cold latte and the uninspiring charcuterie. Perhaps we got a bad day....
Read moreWe arrived & were asked if we had a reso, even though there were several open tables which never filled. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a $15 cocktail.
We had plenty of time to review the menu because our server took quite some time to come back after delivering our drinks. There was a larger group of 20 something year olds sitting at a table and they seem to be receiving all the service in the place. Eventually, our server asked if we would like something to eat but for the expensive menu prices, and the service we had received at that point, we asked for our bill.
Some friendly advice from fellow entrepreneurs: If you would like your business to have the ambiance of exclusivity and elegance, keep your 20 year old friends out of the place that mom and dad have taken a mortgage out on. Nothing will drain a bar’s resources faster than being the “cool guy” who owns the place and feeds all of his friends drinks while ignoring new customers. We went & had our anniversary dinner at your competitor’s that evening & dropped about $200 in a...
Read morewe had an amazing experience at this restaurant when we were there for our team build meeting! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was top-notch.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a meat-lover or vegetarian, there are plenty of options on the menu to satisfy your cravings. And the presentation was impressive, too – every plate looked like a work of art.
The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. It's cozy and intimate, yet still has a vibrant energy that makes it perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner with that special someone.
Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience with great food, atmosphere, and service, this is definitely...
