Canadian Pizza Unlimited — Restaurant in Calgary

I ordered a extra-large pizza and a week ago and told me it will be delivered in 40 mins and they requested me to pay cash and they were out of debit/credit machines. Highly unprofessional but i was like they are human and mistakes happens. But they took 2 hours instead and my friends starved a lot till that time. I called them and they said they are, so they added a 355ml of coke and a dipping sauce. When we got Pizza (after waiting for eternity), we found it to be cold and inedible. It was a great embarrassment for me in front my friends as i recommended then CPU over dominos. They still give me a hard time about it. I called them and complained that Pizza was cold and late and i am highly disappointed. The guy on phone didn't give a refund or replacement and took my phone number and name and assured me that my next pizza order will be free. Today I called them to order my free Pizza and first they took 2 mins to figure out who i am, and then the guy on phone told me that he gave me a pop and dipping sauce free for late pizza(and he said very rudely and at least 5 times, as if it was an act of charity). I mentioned him about free pizza but he told me that i talked to other guy on the phone(i am pretty sure it was same guy as voice was same as last time but he didn't admit it at all) and he can't deliver free pizza to me (even if a pay for delivery). We told me that he might can make free small pizza for me if visit their store. All the time in talk today he was very very rude and unfriendly. Highly unprofessional and very very bad customer service. I just ordered a pizza from Dominos of same size at less price and it just got delivered by the time a wrote this review. HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THEM. YOU WILL BE VERY DISSAPOINTED...

Zero stars If possible. I came into this shop pizza shop hoping to grab some quick fries to go as I have things to do. However that was not the case. Upon walking into the shop I was greeted nicely by a seemingly nice gentleman, there were other customers inside the shop so understandably there was going to be a pizza or a few before me. However because it is lunch time ish, you’d expect all their heating appliances to be on but that was not the case. I had to wait over 10+ minutes to even get my FRIES, now I’ve worked in several fast food chains, even non fast food places where fries can take a bit longer. However there is literally no excuse in the book that should be said for making fries take longer than max 4 minutes. Not only that, but the worker could’ve acknowledged the fact that he knew he’s the only worker in and had a few other others and should TELL HIS CUSTOMERS when they should expect a longer wait: I should not have had to stand there for 10 minutes and then only to look behind the counter and seeing him grab frozen grocery store fries with his bare hands that hadn’t even been cooked yet! Mind you this was AFTER 10 minutes had already passed. Absolutely horrible service, when trying to ask why my stuff was taking so long and telling them as a person who’s worked in their position fries shouldn’t ever take that long he straight up argued with me and yelled and me and would not let me finish any of my sentences. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU EXPECT GOOD SERVICE. Especially the man I spoke to, absolutely disgusting behaviour. As a customer service worker myself, I would never treat a buying costumer like...

The staff did not communicate a single time with us. I went in to pick up my ordered and showed them the order number, the cashier walked away without saying anything. We were there on time, since it said the order was ready for pick up. They served other customers and handed other orders, they ignored us and said nothing. After waiting for 15 minutes, I tried to talk to one of the guys working behind the counter about my order, the employees ignored us once again. I tried to talk to them repeatedly and they ignored what I was saying. I just wanted to know what was going on because the man just walked away without saying anything. Just moments after they handed us the order. I think that was the weirdest interaction I’ve ever had with someone, specially considering I was a customer at a restaurant. They did not attempt to communicate with us or let us know what was happening, when I tried asking about my order they ignored me completely. The whole time they acted like I wasn’t even there.
