Absolutely Gorgeous Sat in waiting area for a few minutes, it is between the full, Incredible looking bar, and the full frontal of kitchen. We watched as each Chef created their masterpieces one by one. Handmade " all pastas". All!!! The preparation of each meal cooked, mastered,plated, extravagance for each and every order All home made sauces, of every variety and request. Various rooms for various reservations, and 1 large room and table. Handsome and Gorgeous, professional and sweet greeter and servers. The most elegant table chosen for us. The choices on the menu are each incredible. I would like to try each one over time. My coat removed from behind me without my noticing and a ticket placed on the table next to my tea. 2 stars because of the terrible service, lacking ambiance, food on its own was a 4. I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a choice. If you're coming here, I'd assume it's because of a specific dish you're craving otherwise you'd be better off with another high end Italian place. Mercato and Vero are the first that come to mind. The food here was above average; its what you'd expect, but still falls short of excellence in its category. The pasta was good, but nothing I'd revisit. At this price, there are many other places in this city that can offer much better. My main, with the scallops and shrimp, was actually delightful until I got to the asparagus. It was tough and came across as an afterthought. It was so disappointing, the dish would've been better off without this element. The service was the most shocking. I'm not sure if we did something to offend our waiter or if he was in a bad mood, it was the most disappointing part of this entire visit. He'd been curt, almost short with us our entire visit until near the end. As soon as our desserts arrived, the bill was promptly dropped without a word. My partner and I came here for a work party and had an amazing time! Staff were working super hard and the food was great. My partner was so impressed that he went to coop to buy the sauces and was super excited to book a reservation for us again. Unfortunately We will never be coming back. I understand that restaurants get busy, but tonight was not enjoyable for either one of us. I have never seen him so upset after a dinning experience. I ordered the soup of the day and it was meh at best. It was room temperature and bland. Took an hour for that to reach our table. And it would have been okay but our waiter didn’t bring us small plates for the bread. Nor did he bring olive oil or balsamic. Our table was not as well served as the other ones. My partners duck was over cooked (he still enjoyed it tho). At this point we just want to eat and leave. It was not enjoyable at all. If the atmosphere would have been more enjoyable we definitely would not have had a problem waiting that long. But our waiter made no conversation with us and basically ignored us. When it was time to pay he left the check for 20 minutes even tho we had our cards out and we’re reaching for the machine.
