The food was great! Went tonight for my birthday and ordered some nachos for 2 out of 3 tables we had. For my main course, I ordered the Cali bowl and was super delicious. Mojitos were on point... Why three stars instead of 5, well the customer service was not the greatest which ruined the whole experience for me. The reservation process was frustrating to start with. Since it was my birthday, I was going to have a bigger party (18+ invitees). Tried to book my reservation through the website and didn't allow me since it was a bigger group, called the restaurant 3 times and left two voicemail about my reservation and nobody call me back. This was with 4 days in advance before my event. Tried again with the website and could only reserve a table for 14 people which was fine. Requested a patio reservation and received confirmation that we would have our tables in the front patio since the rooftop patio was booked for a private event, which was ok. My family and I arrived at the restaurant and we were taken to the back of the restaurant to a semi-private area but we're never instructed which one were our tables. Then, our server arrived and asked us (not very kindly) to sit down to take our orders, right there I felt trouble I don't know if she was new or what was the problem but the service she provided wasn't the greatest. I could understand if she was new or if it was her first time dealing with a big group of people and she felt overwhelmed by the chaos, I have worked in the industry as well and being a server too and I can definitely recall those overwhelming days. But whatever the reason was her service was not acceptable. I felt uncomfortable and very frustrated at the end of the night when we asked for the bill and it took her over 40 minutes to figure it out causing frustration in my friends too. I really hate giving this kind of review, and by any means want to shame her or cause her any problems with her work but I feel there is an opportunity to learn and grow from my very bad experience. 1) If you are new, it's OK to let your customers know that you are new. That way the door of better communication opens up for you and your customers know that mistakes can be made and that you can be overwhelmed. 2) no matter what is going on with you and your night, always always treat your customers with respect. Telling people to sit down on want table and o not to move and reject taking the order of a dessert from a customer and say out loud 'oh but she already ate' not OK, especially if the bill hasn't cleared up.

Loved this spot and their ability to handle a huge crowd during the evening rush. Went there after a new friend told me about the spot. I didn’t realize how big the place was and couldn’t help but notice a crowd had it packed to the gills. There were just two of us and we saw they had a rooftop. The weather was beautiful so naturally that’s where we wanted to head. There was only bar seating available upstairs as, like mentioned before, the place was packed. Tyler greeted us from behind the bar with a handshake and an assurance he’d take care of us the whole time. That he did. Thanks, Tyler. They have a great cocktail and mocktail list available as well as probably 60 or more beers to chose from on tap. I was after non-alcoholic beer and there were about six in the cans to choose from. You always want to see more and even on tap but the demand just isn’t there so it’s not something you expect. Six a damn respectable number. We were looking for simple when it came to good so we opted for a pizza and wings. They have the menu pretty well on point from what I can tell. The wings are fried and tossed which is, in my opinion, the only way to serve them. Carrots, celery, blue cheese… check! Pizza came out looking fantastic and tasted pretty great too. Good colour pallet, oven burnt edges, all the good stuff. I’ll certainly try that again. Would be cool to try this place again when we are looking for more of a party vibe as it seems they can definitely accommodate that too. The second floor had a few games of cornhole going on with an excited crowd standing around and cheering the contestants on. Shoutout to Andrew for telling me about this spot!

While the experience offered some truly memorable highlights, there's certainly room for improvement on the service front. The stars of the show: the beer and the food. The selection of craft brews was exceptional, showcasing a diverse range of styles that truly captured the spirit of Alberta. Equally impressive was the food menu. It's clear that the kitchen takes as much pride in their offerings as the brewers do in their beer. The quality of ingredients and the execution were top-notch, making it a true dining experience, not just a place for a quick bite. However, the overall experience was somewhat dampened by the service. While not outright rude, it felt inconsistent and lacked the attentive touch one would expect from an establishment with such high-quality food and drink. There were noticeable delays in getting orders taken and refills. It felt as though staff were stretched thin or perhaps not as engaged as they could be, leading to moments where we felt a bit overlooked. A more proactive approach from the serving team would elevate the entire visit. All in all its a gem for its outstanding beer and delicious food, making it a must-visit for any Calgary foodie or beer enthusiast. With some focused attention on improving the consistency and attentiveness of their service, this spot has the potential to be truly exceptional. I'd still recommend it, but go in with the expectation that you might need a little patience.

My friend and I came here for all day happy hour on Mother’s day. we got separate bills while i was in the bathroom so my friend paid her bill, when i returned, i noticed my bill and her bill were BOTH charged full price on happy hour drinks. mine was able to be fixed as i hadn’t paid, however my friends was not. she already paid the $75 when her bill should’ve been like $35, they went into the office to “refund” her, came out and showed her the receipt but didn’t let her keep it so she had no proof they even did it. then made my friend pay her actual $35 bill. so she was charged $75 then $35 the same night. the server made an excuse she never works sunday’s when we were there the sunday before mother’s day and that same server served us. so we know that was a lie. my friend never received her $75 refund. she’s been back 3 times to ask about it, everytime she’s been turned away and told to email a manager (Cole). Cole stopped responding to her emails after a few days. We even went onto the patio on May 25th with coworkers, she talked to managers and no one did anything that night either. It’s now after Father’s day and we just went to Craft to talk to another manager about this refund. direct quote from this manager on shift right now “email the general manager, now’s not the time for us to be dealing with refunds.” we kept pressing this manager saying another manager (Cole) has stopped responding to my friends emails and we wanted it dealt with now. this manager left and came back saying that actually my friend stopped replying to Cole’s emails and the refund as already been issued. We stood there at Craft and checked her emails & bank statements, Cole did stop replying to my friends emails and never issued a refund.

This is very disappointing when my friend and i come to Craft pretty regularly and servers & manager lie to our faces. my friend & i both work in the industry and understand mistakes happen. but this is straight up unprofessional and not okay, it’s $75, this should’ve been dealt with on the spot when it happened on...

Had a bit of an off experience here this long weekend. We were hoping for a spot on the patio & the hosts downstairs asked if we were fine with sitting at the bar which we said yes to so we went upstairs and sat at the bar. The blonde lady seemed to not like that & said “oh you seated yourselves, okay.” And then proceeded to help the people on each side of us who sat around the same time, while leaving us without menus or waters. The servers were pleasant and friendly! We ordered from the same blonde girl who came by 15 minutes later & finally asked if we wanted drinks, which another girl had just asked us for (thankfully!) , we ordered food from the blonde girl who was now being extra friendly & my bf ordered a sandwich with side salad. When the food came, his came with fries. He asked to have it replaced & the side salad took quite a while to come even though it was just a salad. My bf likes to eat the salad first lol. Then we asked for our bill and boxes and when the waitress came my bf paid the bill - then noticing after there were 3 coronas on our bill that we never ordered. We mentioned this to the server and as a result about ten minutes later the blonde girl was back, very friendly, asking if I wanted a giftcard or refund. We opted for the refund but seeing as we didn’t ask for our receipt she said she would “have to do a giftcard” since she figured the waitress didn’t know where her receipt was. The blonde girl then left and took about 15 minutes to get the giftcard for my bf.

This whole experience was quite crappy, considering we came out for a date & spent over $100 just for some drinks and simple food.

I really like CRAFT but this experience was not it.

The iced tea sour beer they had was sooo good though, would definitely recommend if you don’t mind the hassle of...
