I went here last night and ordered a pumpkin pie blizzard with extra chunks. While I was in the drive thru window I could see them making it and it was so soupy that it was running over the sides of the cup and they were scooping the ice cream into the garbage can so they could get a lid on. I got home and tried to take the blizzard out of the drink tray and the entire lid exploded and cup spilled all over my kitchen counter.. the ice cream was more like soup .. I called and complained because I just paid 10$ for the ice cream that was soup all over my counter. They put too much pumpkin filling ilim the cup and over filled the ice cream so it was just pouring out. They argued me on the phone that I should call back another time because it was to noisey there instead of just stepping to the back to speak to the customer on the phone. I worked at Dairy Queen for years and if someone orders extra chunks in a blizzard you don't fill half the cup with sauce making it a cup of soup... They told me I could come back through drive through and they would make it again and I told her that most of the blizzard was in my kitchen sink as it had exploded and I cleaned up the mess and she said that was fine. So I went my husband back and they tried accusing him of eating half the blizzard because it was half gone. They did end of remaking it but she was noticeably rude in the process.
We will be taking our service to sandstone location as they are much more friendly and would never serve something to a customer that is over filled and...
Read moreHave had multiple instances where service was absolutely terrible. Yesterday pushed me over the edge and I had to write a review.
The drive thru takes about 20-30 min to get through even when it's empty.
The employees can't put lids on drinks correctly. This happened not long ago and a Pepsi collapsed all over my car door running into the inside and eventually destroyed the power window motor of my car. The employee at fault only offered me a discounted coupon for a small blizzard.
They always mess up the order. Last order I made at the drive thru I asked for a flamethrower combo with a Pepsi to drink. I get to the window and pay for the order. The employee hands me a Pepsi and fries. I asked where my burger was and they told me that's not what I ordered. They then proceeded to say I owed them more money. I was too frustrated at this point with past experiences that I simply asked for a refund. They proceeded to give me cash. I asked for them to refund it back on to my visa card that I used to pay... They couldn't do it. They ended up giving me the food but I almost payed for it and they gave me a single burger where the flamethrower burger is a double burger so I would have payed for more and got less... Absolutely unacceptable even though I got the meal for free I would have...

I've been getting the same damn sandwich every single time i go there for the last like 15 years. Now suddenly its an impossible task that can not be accomplished. Y'all too damn expensive to not be able to modify a burger in any way. Honestly insane lmao
Edit for owner: First of all we ordered it chicken flamethrower multiple times through the intercom and the drive thru attendant kept changing it to spicy chicken. Second the way you are suggesting I order it with extra this and extra that would likely cost more than changing the beef for chicken. Which i am assuming is why all that has been changed. Third i did mention they said- and i quote- "We do not modify anything on the menu." So why can i not ask for chicken instead of beef but I CAN ask for extra other stuff on a totally different sandwich? Which again would likely just cost me more over all than just paying the price difference for chicken. Both are modifications, no? I mean really every other DQ has had no problem doing this, just you guys. Pretty wild...
