Most affordable place in the city and the BEST place for Texas donuts. These things are huge (and only $2.20 each) - you do have to call at least the morning of to order them though!! Everything they make is SO AFFORDABLE. They have a day old rack - a Loaf of bread was $1.40 (regular only $2.20 though), got 2 giant cinnamon rolls for $2.50 (regular only $2.10 each) and they have amazing Vietnamese subs. I came here for the meat stuffed buns. I usually go to the Diamond bakery to buy them, but the day I was craving them, that bakery was closed. Not only was I pleased about not having to go downtown, they carry more flavors that the other place no longer does. The buns were still warm when I bought them!!!!! Hunterhorn Bakery is a gem of a place, located in Hunterhorn Plaza. Amazing prices and delicious products. BBQ PORK BUNS, BEEF BUNS, SAUSAGE ROLLS, all reasonably priced and delicious. I purchased a box of various baked sweets for a friend recently discharged from hospital; apple, mango, raspberry and keylime turnovers as well as two Texas doughnuts.
