I absolutely love Davidās tea and yesterday I went to this location to get my usual teas and explore something new. I selected the Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait and asked the sales associate to get me 100gm of it. She mentioned it is lighter so it will be a little bit more so I said thatās fine.
Then I asked about a tin and asked to put my tea in the tin and she kept filling it and I thought may be itās looking more because she mentioned earlier.
I reached home and saw the tin and the tea was 394 gm instead of the 100 I asked. Well it is on me, I should have checked but the sales associate should have let me know that it was so much.
Today I tried the tea and did not like it. I went back to the store to return and they declined saying they cannot refund but only exchange as this was loose leaf tea.
There was no mention of you cannot return loose leaf tea on the website. I showed them and they said they cannot refund.
I feel so disappointed that I had to try to get a refund on something that I did not even agree to buy(394 gm which was almost 4 times from what I asked).
Really bad experience on both days. I would rather order online like I usually do. Really bad bad experience.
Update: the Customer service was amazing. They reached out a couple days after I posted the review and turned this experience into a better one. They refunded the tea that I had returned to my OG form of payment. Erin was very helpful and I was able to go to the store yesterday and received the refund. The lady on the phone was telling me different things about stock levels a particular tea I was searching for even though online availability said they had it. Despite all this still decided to go in and take a look. I found some other teas that they had in stock on sale online and asked to price match, one girl was very hesitant about giving me a straight anwser and just tried to explain the instore deals. Then another lady switched tills with her and said they can not price match everything that is on sale online and just depends on a letter they get bit is picked by the manager. Very unfriendly and rude attitude when spoke to me. Felt very unhappy and disappointed as I came to this mall just for the tea. Terrible customer service especially around...

I was pretty concerned about selecting teas, but Sydney helped me choose the perfect combination. I asked Sydney literally tons of somewhat silly questions about teas and requested packages with a similar amount. Sydney did it for me super quickly and properly. Sydney was so sweet and answered all my questions with a lovely smile. Sydney was my lifesaver today for sure, lol. Thanks to that, now I can visit Korea to give this amazing gift to my good friend!
