I recently visited Deville Coffee, and I can confidently say it’s a 5-star experience that every coffee lover needs to try! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The team at Deville truly lives up to their mission of creating cafés "steeped in connection"—the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.
I ordered a cappuccino, and it was nothing short of perfection. The foam was velvety, and the barista crafted a beautiful leaf design on top, which added a lovely touch of artistry to my drink. The coffee itself was rich and smooth, a testament to Deville’s commitment to brewing only direct trade coffee beans. You can really...
taste the quality in every sip, and knowing they’ve been carefully sourcing, roasting, and crafting their espresso drinks by hand since 2008 makes it even more special. The use of high-quality ingredients like organic vanilla and house-made chocolate ganache clearly elevates their drinks to another level. Beyond the coffee, I was impressed by the overall vibe of the café. The tiled table where I enjoyed my cappuccino was clean and stylish, and the little details—like the coaster with a message about community—showed how much Deville values connection. I also noticed their pastries, which looked absolutely delicious and are delivered daily from the city’s best bakeries. While I didn’t try one this time, I’ll definitely be back to sample their fresh, creative sandwiches and baked goods.
Deville Coffee isn’t just a place to grab a drink; it’s a community hub run by passionate, locally-based owners who genuinely care about their craft and their customers. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, they make you feel like part of the family. If you’re in Alberta or BC, do yourself a favor and visit Deville—you won’t be disappointed! Five stars all the way for their exceptional coffee, warm service, and...
Read moreIf you have a problem with my honest experience at this particular location. I highly recommend you reach out and speak to me, rather then accuse me something I did not do.
I was in this location today I order a large Cappuccino. The young lady who took my order was wonderful. The atmosphere of this location is incredible. I paid cash and left a tip and it was a take out order. In and out in 5 mins. Unfortunately the coffee was terrible. It was watery and the milk was sour. I love Deville coffee, Market Mall location is consistently top notch. Willow park is consistently not.
If you accuse me again of something I didn't do I will gladly come over to location and speak with the owner directly.
Response to your comment
You lied and said that I was asked to leave due to lewd and harassed the staff. That never occurred from this purchase or experience. I was polite and respectful to the staff and patrons. I know exactly what time I was there so if you want me to come in and watch the video of my visit we can. I added the photo from your false accusation. You blatantly lie
Response to addition
Why would I ever step foot in the store again!?!? I received a poor takeout product and when mentioned my experience on here, false accusations were vollied my way. You can flagged and deny all you like but it happened and it was you that sent accusation. I still have the entire thread saved to my device. It was a response from Deville coffee. I have filled a complaint with the company. I will not be a customer at any Deville Coffee thanks to your...
Read moreThe baristas here are kinda standoffish and unfriendly, but I guess that's fine. The coffee is meh, I mean it approaches Starbucks level quality, maybe a bit above. It's a nice space to work but I wish they would turn up the heat! I don't come here very often because it's so cold in there! They keep the temperature at like 15C I swear to God.
Edit: The owner's dismissive and passive aggressive response to my mild comments really says it all. If this is the example you set for your staff, I understand why they have the same attitude. The reason I say it approaches Starbucks (not equal to) is because your baristas are not trained properly. They do not know how to steam milk properly or just don't really care based on the drinks I've received. The day I came by, I was wearing a sweater and puffer vest and it was still chilly. The reason I mentioned it is because my sister noticed it too. I even came by earlier in the season when it wasn't too cold and had the same experience. Needless to say I won't be returning. I would rather give my business to someone who doesn't feel entitled to it.
I do not feel I'm an expert in anything. I was just giving mild constructive thoughts and you've responded in an unprofessional and passive...
