Went to this edo location for the first time, and did not have a pleasant experience. One of the workers did notice and tried to make up for one of their coworkers but both me and my partner were unimpressed. I wanted to ask for a refund but my partner was already getting mad. We first were served by an Asian lady at the till (looked to be in her 20s), and she was not friendly at all. She seemed like she was in such a rush to have us pay for our order to THEN not be served until 4 people (3 customers that came in after us). Both me and my partner were sitting down and at first I thought maybe it had to do with ordering sushi, however, to my surprise it seemed as though the girl from the register was in the back and almost as if was not working as her coworker called her out. The two ladies who were up front cooking, were confused on how they missed the order but apologized and said they would take care of it. HOWEVER, the one who initially took our order, then came out and gave us the wrong pieces. We asked for 8, she only gave us 4 and proceeded to ask us for the receipt. She asked more than two times for the receipt and her coworker said not to worry about it, for my partner to speak up and get mad but show her. She was then proven wrong, and made the 8 pieces and apologized. Honestly, with her rude demeanor, she shouldn't have clocked in if she didn't...
Read moreI’m an edo enthusiast and as far as edo’s go this one is sub par. Often feels a bit grubby…tables not cleaned etc, and it takes too long to get your food even when they should be firing on all cylinders like right before lunch.
Just tried it again as I love Edo. There’s 3 customers in the store yet the staff are completely disorganized. The guy on the grille has NO IDEA what he’s doing. Although he’s trying hard, he’s a complete amateur, which is unacceptable for somebody who’s supposed to be running the flat top. I ordered a sumo sized chicken teriyaki and got completely shorted on the veggies and about 3 times more sauce than I ordered. Dude has no idea what the franchise-wide ratios are. This place needs some leadership or management in the worst way. Staff is confused, and consequently so are the customers. I leave these comments not to be rude, but as someone who owned a face paced franchise years ago. This basic operation and training stuff needs to be dialled in and managed by someone with the aptitude to do the job effectively or it turns into...
Read moreI like edo and we pick it up a lot from the mcleod tr location. I went to this location to pick up lunch and will probably never go back. The girl at the till was rude, and very into her phone but overall this is where fast food has gone anyway. The other girl on the grill though was horrible. I watched as she got the order wrong for the guy in front of me, then scrape off something and then add more sauce and just toss him a lid and walk away. Then I stood there watching as the chicken on the grill kept cooking but now nobody was there. She came back to see it burning and scraped it off and put it on mine. Then again just tossed the lid toward me and walked away. when she came back, I was still cleaning the side from the sauce she’d put on and squishing the lid on. What happened to good customer service? When I was at this edo I felt like I was doing something wrong or inconveniencing them by ordering food. I’m sure the guy ahead of me...
