Used to be my favourite go to place for my mushroom Swiss burger but oh how things change. First off we had decided to go for dinner on a gift card we received for five different restaurant choices and seeing how it’s been a while since we’ve had fat burger we decided to go here. We gave them our order and handed them our gift card as she went to ring in the card it read failed card ? The girl a the till seemed a bit new and assuming it was the supervisor or just another crew member that had taken over as she tried several times as it wasn’t working. So we just decided to pay the bill. Once we sat down we noticed it appeared you needed to scratch the back of the card for a card number as the team member entered some other number on the card. Apparently training was an issue because I’m sure they received many gift cards, so once we had noticed there was a place to scratch on the back of the card the girl approached us asking how our meal was but I skipped to answer her question as I wasn’t about to say not as accepted in the past and mentioned to her about the card. We asked now that there was a place on the back to reveal the correct card number can you refund our money back and put onto the card ? She seemed unsure and said it probably won’t be a problem. After our meal we were on our way back up to review there issues and she mentioned her manager said it wasn’t possible for the refund. Hmmm strange how a company would take advantage of the situation and not resolve the issue. So for the second half I was a bit disappointed with the burger and mentioned a person bringing in a gift card and is forced into paying for it and now possibly going back another day you guys gain extra revenue. Read moreAfter reading raving reviews, I tried Fat Burger (Heritage) for the first time. Definitely disappointed. After reviewing the menu and noticing the patties were either 1/3 or 1/2 lbs, I ordered the double cheeseburger special with onion rings. I received what I’d describe as a double cheeseburger slider. It tasted great but was disappointed with how small the burger was. Secondly the rings were so greasy that when I picked up any of the rings, they were literally dripping oil. After many napkins later I finally finished my meal. I kindly took my tray to the front counter and inquired about the size of my burger and was told the double cheeseburger special is a single 1/3 lb portion, split to make 2 mini patties. When I asked why the onion rings were so oily, the cook who was listening to my inquiry turned around and said that’s to be expected because onion rings are battered and absorb oil while being deep fried. I took my paper onion ring dish and started to pour the equivalent of 3-4 tablespoons of oil onto my tray. The cook didn’t say a word, but the girl (cashier) offered me another order of rings. I politely declined and told them I might come back and give them a second chance. Overall disappointed with the bait and switch burger promotion, and definitely disappointed with the onion rings swimming in oil. Read moreWow, don't even know where to start. I placed an order through skip the dishes for me and my daughter. When tracking my order it kept saying driver is 1 minute away. It said this for about 5 minutes, then it tells me order is recieved, which it isn't. So I contact skip the dishes customer service. They tell me the driver said I didn't answer, which is an out and out lie. My building has a buzzer system that rings to my phone which was right beside me as I was tracking the order. So after going back and forth with the customer service they tell me that the driver can redeliver my same order once he is done with his current delivery. By now my foodhas been sitting in his car for well over an hour and a half. I've told them to cancle my order , which the customer service person didn't understand. I understand it isn't fatburgers fault. It's solely on ship the dishes, I just wanted to let them know how their business is being represented. And because of this horrible customer service by skip the dishes I will never ever order again and will advise friends and family the same.
