Edo Japan — Restaurant in Calgary

I went and ordered a kids beef meal because i was only a bit hungry. I asked for just the beef (no rice or veggies) because i wanted something small and have sensitivities. They denied me and told me to leave. Rude service, i have ordered this here no problem

EDIT I came back trying to order this again thinking that the issue had been solved and the staff once again refused me and yelled in my face while laughing at me. It was one of the male workers from the ages of 20-40 and a younger female worker with dark hair in a braid. Also when they finally gave in and gave me my meal they had added mushrooms and not given me the drink that came with the meal (my friend was with me and got a kids meal and she received her drink) I don't feel welcome at this location anymore and I will be sharing this experience with those I know. I hope that for future customers with similar situations to mine are accommodated better then I was because I have never in my life encountered ruder...

We have enjoyed Edo Japan food for several years. Our favorite is the vegetable yakisoba with thick noodles. They serve various vegetables mushrooms and noodles. So, we were taken by surprise today when the two Asian males one young and the other older provided us the same minus cabbage and mushrooms and skimped on other veggies. When I addressed the issue of mushrooms, he said they never provide mushrooms with noodles. A blatant lie when we have been having the same over many years. They are also extremely skimpy when it comes to the sauce. There used to be other cooks who were quite good at what they did but now these two. Especially the younger one who even skimps of the veggies. Worst was when he filled the bowl dropping veggies out on the serving counter. We will likely never return and look for another outlet, unless they change out these two people. Their service is...

The filipina middle aged lady was so unpleasant. She rang me up even before I could tell her that I wanted a drink, then walked away. She didnt double check with me if my order was right either. When I asked her for my receipt, she literally rolled her eyes like she was annoyed. While waiting for my meal to be made, she was on her phone talking to the cook, and they were dealing with an issue, i dont know what but i waited there standing staring at my food, Which was clearly cooked and just needed mushrooms.
