Great Canadian Pizza & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Calgary

I went there for lunch for the first time yesterday and the slice of pizza I had was fine. However, today, I was absolutely disgusted. I got a slice of pizza to go and I went back to work to eat it. When I finally sat down and opened the foil paper from the plate, I couldn't believe my eyes. There were things on the side of my pizza that appeared like hair. Like a man's facial hair since it looked coarse. I was in shock. I called the place up right away and I told that guy that there was hair on my pizza. He told me to bring it back so I could get another one. Did he really think after seeing that, I would eat another slice let alone from that place ever again? I told him I don't have time to come back but I asked my manager and he let me go. Soooo, I went back on the train and went back to the place. I went up to the guy at the pizza place and asked him "soo what is that?" He laughed at me and told me it wasn't hair and that it was from the pizza pan when a pizza burns. I did not buy that story at all. He practically lied to my face. He offered me another slice of pizza. I told him I just wanted my money back. He gave my $4.35 back and I left. Never will I come here...

Good place for the late night cravings, Halal Restaurant. I ordered Mutton curry which comes with Plain White Rice, due to excessive appetite I also ordered couple of Naans. It took them 25 mins to prepare the food while I waited until that time. When the food came onto the counter I asked him about the rice, he replied that since you bought Naans so curry wouldn’t come with Rice. With that unnecessary conversation I turned around because we were hungry. These people should learn about the customer service and should deliver what has been written on the menu card. The food wasn’t good but we still had it due to nature of the appetite. I found Naans were freshly made and was soft but curry was not even appropriate in respect to taste. Quality of food in terms of freshness was not questionable but taste of food was pathetic. Wouldn’t recommend it if someone is buying Mutton Curry. It’s expensive, compare to one Halal Restaurant...

I phoned at 2:20 am approximately wanting to order to pizzas for pickup. Would have taken him ten minutes in the oven. With easily over half an hour clean up time till closing. He didn’t want the business pretending he had to clean up. When In fact, he kept complaining many people try phoning in last minute and don’t pick up. I tried assuring him to no avail that’s not what I was trying to do. Nevertheless, ordering for pickup doesn’t seem to be a comfortable business strategy here. So unless your standing in front of him waving your cash around in your hand. Good luck getting any business from this guy. Not an easy business to deal with. Nor a fond memory for a attempted ...
