The only reason this review is getting two stars is because the food was pretty good. Service here is horrible. My partner and I arrive and were waiting at the front desk for a good 7-10 minutes before we were helped. Everyone working there(even the lady at the bar who wasn’t doing much) saw my partner and I waiting and didn’t say anything and no one said hi or even asked if we needed help. The hostess/waitress named Kayda was even worse. Never introduced herself and didn’t seem too interested in doing her job. Her energy was very low and she didnt even try to fake a smile. She was very standoffish. She took our order and when my partner and I were asking simple questions about what we were about to order she seemed very annoyed at our questions. She never checked up on us after we got our food to see how everything was/everything tasted and when I said my partner didn’t like his drink because it was way too strong she said she forget to mention that it’s a double because it’s on the happy hour menu(something along those lines). From the moment I walked in, Rain greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel welcome. He took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations based on my preferences.
Throughout my meal, Rain was attentive and genuinely interested in making sure that I was enjoying my dining experience. He checked in regularly and made sure that everything was to my liking. It was clear that he takes great pride in his work and cares deeply about his customers' satisfaction.
One thing that really stood out to me was Rain's knowledge of the food and drinks on offer at Moxies. He was able to provide detailed descriptions of each dish and offered pairing suggestions that complemented the flavors perfectly. He clearly had a passion for the food and was excited to share his knowledge with me.

Savannah provided the most amazing service, and our food was delicious. And of course, the brownie this time was perfection, just the way I remembered it used to be. I am only reviewing the location, service, and the warm chocolate brownie of this Moxie’s. It’s newly renovated and conveniently located by the C-train with very limited street parking nearby. Excellent and attentive service, most likely due to the fact that it was early Sunday evening and only two other tables were there! I always order the warm chocolate brownie from Moxie’s but the recipe has definitely changed. It used to be better. Most likely won’t come back again to Moxie’s for the brownie as it has fallen short of expectations.
