Jugo Juice — Restaurant in Calgary

Wow.... What a bad experience. We waited at the counter for 10 minutes before the guy came around the corner with cups and lids which we politely excused and totally understood as I also work in a smoothie and juice restaurant. He was sweaty after the walk and did not wash his hands before touching the screen and starting the food order. (There were 2 more orders after where he also did not wash his hands still and was rubbing the sweat off his forehead with his hand) I asked about which he would suggest between the two specials (that have been out for a couple weeks now) and he knew nothing about his own menu. Said it was “only a part time job”. Where is the pride in your job? I’d expect you to at least know about the special. Anyways, I asked for the cheaper of the two and he charged me for the more expensive, which we didn’t notice until looking at the receipt. He blended it quick and I could still see chunks of mango, and was going to pour it like that so I asked it to be double blended. The smoothie was short the first time, so the solution was to dump more juice into a smoothie that was all juice to begin with, and was short in the end again. It was the Holiday Orange and just tasted like POG juice. Not impressed, Booster Juice is...

Worst place I ever came for juice!! Firstly, there was only one person in the staff there. Hence the long holdup just to order and then to get it. Secondly, that lady did not even know what's the difference between a juice and a smoothie. Thirdly, (since I did not want pulp in my juice, I simply asked her to strain it) she asked me what "pulp" and "strain" means!! What is she doing in that place, I wonder!! Fourthly, after telling her what I want (please I don't want the seeds and skin in the juice), she understands that I don't want to foam on top of the juice and just takes it off with a spoon n hands me back the glass. Very bad experience!!

Do you people even train the employees? Or just make them stand there with no clue of what they r doing...

I have come here many times, and each time I leave disappointed. The service is terrible (apparently no one taught these women to say hello or the basics of costumer service). When you do get your drink it is often watered down and the lady making them slams the drinks down on the counter. Once I asked to remake my drink as it was very warm. The lady (i am guessing she is the manager or owner as she is always there) glared at me and didn't even acknowledge me as she snatched my drink back. I go back hoping that it will be different but because I have been treated like this over 10 times I now refuse...
