New York Fries Market Mall — Restaurant in Calgary

It's been a long time since I've had NY Fries but was in the mood for comfort food (and good fries).

I ordered a Flamin' Bacon premium hotdog which had chipotle aioli, peppers, bacon and a regular fries.

The food was ready quickly and service was good. Biting into the hotdog, it wasn't hot (warm but barely) but had a decent amount of toppings. I didn't find it spicy but it was still good. I would have preferred a warm bun as well.

The fries were as good as I remembered. I asked if they still had California seasoning (what I remember loving as a kid), and was given a packet to season with (could also choose Cajun flavoring).

New York Fries never disappoints! Their fries are always hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside — exactly how real fries should be. You can tell they use fresh potatoes and cook everything to order. I especially love how customizable the menu is from classic fries to loaded options like poutine and butter chicken fries, there's always something new to try.

The portion sizes are generous, and the toppings are flavorful without being overwhelming. The staff is friendly, and service is usually quick, even during busy times. It's my go-to spot for a satisfying snack or a quick, indulgent meal.

Visited this location yesterday, grumpy cashier didn’t say hi didn’t say thank you. The only time she opened her mouth was when I gave her a coupon for soft drink “what size”. When I sat down I realized that wasn’t a fork for my poutine. I Went back to ask for one. She just pointed her finger at the other staff. After I did, I can’t hold my patience anymore the forks is just her hand can reach. She can’t even past it to me? I said to her, is it too much to ask, too much work for her? The other girl is nice , with smile on her face all the time. Fries are not crispy on this location and CrossIron Mill. Quality is not worth to visit...
