First of all I go there often, due to work and their bakery products have been consistently good and the ambience is great. I currently have gift cards, I purchased, and give to friends and coworkers, because I've been impressed in the past. The service though, and drink preparation, varies wildly. It's good, bad and ugly, the last months. Bad experience today with the 2 ladies, one on the POS with blonde hair and one making the drinks. Transaction receipt 145701, 919am. Dozen drinks got prepared before mine, they doubled one from my party, spoke to each other in a foreign language and smirked when I checked if mine will be done. After 10min I get milk and water instead of dark hot chocolate and the girl says "you're welcome haha". Do I have time to debate or wait for another drink? Nope. But a supervisor or owner should know what kind of employees are dealing with, they represent a business and get paid to do a job... Read moreI liked the pastries and cakes, so I told my son on his actual birthday we would come here and he could pick a birthday pastry/cake (we did his party 1 week ago already). We came in today at 4 pm. A lady was on the phone (might be on hold) and said to us : “Sorry, we are closed.” We told her we thought the store closes at 4:30 pm as indicated in the store hours outside. However, in this interaction, she did not sound apologetic for the situation even though she did say sorry. It felt that she didn’t care about customers. She could have asked what we wanted and said she didn’t have any staff so she couldn’t make us certain things. Instead, she turned us away coldly, and my 4 year old son was super sad that he didn’t get the birthday pastry...

Now, for reference, they used to be maybe a dollar cheaper than they are now but they're still under the $5 mark which is excellent compared to anything within walking distance considering how good they are.
They also have day-olds in bags for sale (typically $1/piece in the bag), and Fridays after 1 or 2pm they go on sale even more I've heard!
So there's plenty of reasons to stop by,...
