OKAY FOLKS! 🎩 Hats off to the best pizza place in YYC! As a pizza lover, who understands and respects the delicacy of an artisan Italian pizza dough, I can assure that you will thank me for this recommendation! Pros: You choose any pizza from the boards and all come with (i think) the same tomato sauce. It’s tasty, thick yet not heavy and smooth! The toping options come with a good range of variety and innovation, I mean I would have never expected in my life to put a FIG on a pizza and call it best pizza ever! 🤷🏻‍♀️ The owners are very friendly and have good manners, you will feel appreciated. They are also very punctual, if you be there late .. try not to! 😁 Ps., the atmosphere is nice, cozy and different, it almost gives a European cafe vibe. Cons; Food is perfect, the sauce that they use as a base for all the pizzas is a bit salty for me. But not in a way that would stop me from going there!🙂 They have only two tables available (8 sittings), so consider this when going with a large group. 😉 Lastly, they have NO delivery!! 😕😒 Pps., if you wanna be surprised in a good way try their home special🙃🙂😊☺️ I also added pics of the sitting areas and capacity. E N J O Y! 🥰

LOVED THEIR PIZZA! I suddenly had a craving for Italian pizza, and luckily, this place was just 2 minutes away from us. And oh my god... my high hopes (based on all the great reviews) were absolutely met! The pizza was delicious! You really can't compare it to the big chains (I know they’re not Italian) — this was on a whole different level. We devoured everything in minutes. We tried the Margherita, Signora Gaga, and Mamma. honestly, all of them were so good, I can’t even pick a favorite. Definitely coming back, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone! Oh and the lady at the counter was super nice and even gave us free cookies! I was too full to finish them, but thank you! She really was as lovely as everyone else has mentioned in the reviews. It’s actually been a while since I wrote a review this long, but this place really deserved it.

Wow, surprised at all the good reviews on this place. Crust had to have been previously frozen. Margherita was pretty bland, hard to taste the basil (maybe dried basil?) and a bit too much cheese. Signora Gaga was just ok, good to see some different toppings on a pizza (figs), but i didnt see any bocconcini and it just didn't meet expectations. If you enjoy Dr. Oetkers frozen pizza, this will be in your lane. If you like authentic pizza, handmade dough, wood-fired clay ovens etc, let this one pass you by. There are significantly better options in the city, some in the same neighbourhood, selling at a similar price. I'd agree with the other comments that the staff were nice and friendly, and its good to support a local business but know what you're getting.

Seriously, guys. Seriously. If you are anywhere near Calgary, go here. It looks very unassuming; don’t be fooled. It’s a powerhouse landmark. It’s a small little shop stuck in a corner of downtown. There are maybe two places to sit and eat inside, and the decor is snappy, Eastern European-influenced. It’s clean and smells amazing. I am NOT kidding when I say this place has the BEST pizza. Honestly, it is my top 3 pizza experiences of ALL TIME. It was magical it was so good. The toppings are unique (no “meat lovers pizza” here) and the sauce is perfect—not too runny, not too thick. The price is comparable to other pizza places—even those not nearly as good as this is. But what sets this place far above the pack is the customer service. The owners are a husband/wife team and when we were there, the wife was making the pizzas in the back and the husband was running the counter. As soon as we walked in, he gave my kids chocolate candy bars from Eastern Europe, and he entertained us with his commentary with other customers. But the kicker was when we went to pay for our dinner after a very long day driving in from Montana, our credit card did not work. I got on the phone to see what was going on, and the owner came up to us and said “eat the food while it’s hot! The kids are hungry. I’ve sold lots of pizza today. Go home and enjoy it. Next time you’re in Calgary, come back again.” Seriously. He GAVE us dinner. We ordered four pizzas! We were blown away by his kindness. I don’t know any place in America where a restaurant would give food away to a foreign tourist because her credit card was glitching. So we already loved the pizza before we took a bite. And once we did eat it, we were forever hooked. This is one of those places that you don’t forget and you make a special effort to return to. Go for the pizza, stay for the customer...

Pizzeria GAGA is a fantastic little pizza shop that truly stands out in the best way. This family-owned business is run by people who are genuinely passionate about what they do, and it really shows in every aspect of the experience.

Every time we visit, we are greeted with a warm welcome that makes us feel like part of the family. The owners are spectacular—always funny, friendly, and ready for a great conversation. Their hospitality adds so much to the dining experience, making it not just about the food but also about the atmosphere.

Speaking of the food, the pizza at Pizzeria GAGA is amazing! The crust is phenomenal—perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavors are wonderfully balanced, and every pizza we’ve tried has been a delight. You can tell that they take great care in choosing their ingredients and crafting their recipes.

The pricing is fair, especially considering the high-quality of the pizza and the overall experience. There’s a small dining area that’s casual and cozy, adding to the charm of this neighborhood pizzeria.

If you’re looking for a place with great pizza and even better company, Pizzeria GAGA is the place to go. We always look forward to...
