Purdys Chocolatier — Restaurant in Calgary

We asked for an ice cream bar with nuts and a 2 scoop cone. For the bar, it took the server 3 attempts to get it, and it wasn't even up to standard in the end. The first time, she waited too long and the outside chocolate dried out so she couldn't put on the nuts properly. Despite this, she attempted to give it to us with a cup of nuts on the side! (I know...) The second time, she got a piece of the plastic wrapper of the bar stuck inside the chocolate. And again, she tried to give it to us and say it was fine. For the cone, she tried to give us an essentially empty cone! The ice cream didn't even come out of the cone. Again (and I can't believe I'm saying this), she tried to sell it to us. Purdy's is usually a great establishment, so it's a real shame to see it mismanaged and run by buffoons. Please go to any other location other...

Another update, they finally responded after a few months. I would like to mention that Purdys reached out to me, and I msgd them back and they never followed up, I got zero response. Please dont see their "response" on here as genuine! I absolutely LOVE Purdys, its always been my favorite. Always good quality and consistent. However at this particular location there is one employee that always seems like I am an inconvenience to her. My hubby and I generally get 20 selections each, ok were only spending around $50, but she could at least smile and treat us with respect. I was there with my two daughters and my mother-in-law. My MIL was going to get my older daughter and herself some ice cream. After my daughter chose a flavour, my MIL was looking to see what kind she wanted and the worker asked her to move aside so someone behind her could look instead, preventing her from picking anything and not being able to get her own. It was 33 degrees outside and my MIL just wanted to have some ice cream but apparently that worker felt she didn't...
