Brutal Food - Worst Ricky's I've ever been to
Visited Ricky's Sunday around lunch time. Took over an hour for our food to come out. It was barely luke warm. The bacon was over cooked. Hashbrown and french fries were soggy. No cheese on the breakie bowls. Even the toast was soggy. It's hard to believe someone could mess up breakfast foods so completely. My daughter had a burger, the patty had been squished into a thick oval that took up only a third of the bun. Not sure what happened there.
I am sorry we paid for the terrible food, but after waiting so long, we were in too much of a hurry to discuss our disappointment with the server. Will not be returning - obviously.
On an sidenote, the first time we visited this location (because it's convenient to our house) the food was awful. I emailed the restaurant and was assured that it was a one off and that they usually have great quality control. Not the case. Visit another Ricky's location if you want...
Read moreIt’s a pretty basic restaurant with good breakfast and burgers, but sloppy/soggy salads. It’s close to my grandma‘s place and very quiet so we frequent it often but today the server was incredibly rude. I usually go with my husband but today he had to work so I was alone with three kids and my elderly grandmother. Which was frustrating because why would we pay for 6 people to go out to dinner to have a small reasonable request turned down to accommodate the selfish and inconsiderate preferences of the waiter. Further discussion went no where. Therefore, my baby cried almost the whole evening, probably annoying the other four diners in the restaurant, and making our dinner out unenjoyable. Especially knowing all he had to do was...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in, it was smiles and courtesy all the way. We felt like royalty. From the hostess to our server, who stopped by frequently to make sure everything was going well to actually seeing we needed something before we needed to ask. It was a breath of fresh air to be served with such attention to detail. The food was hot and delicious. My Mom suffers with Dementia and needed to bring in her stuffed animals for comfort and everyone treated her and us as though it was nothing out of the ordinary. We love going out for brunch and have not tried Ricky's in many years. So glad we did. The only suggestion I would make is that with fresh fruit a plenty during these hot summer months the, fresh strawberries would have been the icing on the cake or the brioche French toast. All was overlooked though because of the service with a smile and then some. We are happy recipients...
