Update: Does that dish Meet your expectations??? I’d give zero now if that is the response. To be honest. I do not need educating on what the dish is. Decades of travelling abroad and eating dishes similar from across Canada in ON and BC (Vancouver Victoria, Toronto, Ottawa, small towns) to Japan, China, Malaysia and Thailand I CAN ASSURE you I don’t need educating on what it is. Or what it is suppose to be and was not.. I am aware it didn’t have beef I didn’t ask for that. And If you use frozen peas and carrots and think that is amazing and don’t touch on that I mentioned that?? And you feel I am wrong in my “expectations” of a fresh carrot is wild. That goes to show and only affirms my assessment. It is extremely poor to have lack of accountability. Ultra low quality ingredients. It was a slop mess with no flavor. There was no “numbing” affect lol that is laughable. It was worse than a bottle of VH sauce. Or a frozen microwave dinner. It Was not spicy at all And ultra bland. To essentially defend it. Is a dishonour to your business. Great thanks for clarifying the bean. The dish cost about $2 to make. Spend $14. Wasting people’s time and hard earned money when they treat themselves out. I would not recommend and won’t be back to try other dishes especially the lack of correction or accountability. And then assuming I am dumb or need educating. I think that is projecting when you use frozen peas and carrots. Perhaps educating yourself on what flavor is and traditional cooking and better incidents that don’t actually cost that much more if more at all. Just Lazy. Original review: I was searching online. And read the reviews. It seemed so promising. I was super hungry so I was excited to read about larger portions. And never in my whole life on this planet … and I am so sorry to write this but it was actually more heartbreaking to eat than me sharing/writing this. The lady who took my order was so sweet. So nothing personally there. I walked in. It was loud. Stark. And cafeteria gas station like. Noodle box at this point would be high class lol can you imagine. It was meat locker cold in there. Empty (shocker even at dinner time hmm I wonder why) It’s SO upsetting to hope for something. And what I got was not what I would expect at all. I love tofu. But other than a Korean Soup once I have never had SOFT like ultra soft tofu in a stir fry type of dish. Medium at least. But honestly always firm tofu. Not soft. It was so slimy. And bland. The most unflavorful dish ever. Usually any Asian of all forms and flavors dishes are incredible for anything tofu or veggie. This was beyond tasteless. Like I don’t know how to handle it. I wished I could have went back to return it. 😔 I couldn’t even eat half of it because when I asked if there were any veggies in it. She did say peas and carrots. Now usually again carrots in anything from any Asian country or in Canada-Asian food is always sliced fresh carrots. Never 2 cent bag of square frozen peas and carrots those always have such a horrendous flavour to them (the carrots) the most. It was so strange. It was honestly like if the whitest man who never cooked put plain white rice, Frozen peas / carrots and this slop tofu in and tried to make an Asian dish. I honestly could cry 😭 because I was so hungry and has a working student putting myself through school with no help. My one meal I go to get out. And end up with this. Stretching my dollars this was a treat on a Saturday. To eat by myself at that. And it’s wasted. 😢💔 I’m sorry but i had to share it truthfully. Because it was upsetting/disappointing. This cannot be part of your menu if everyone else raves about other dishes being the best they have had or in Calgary. And at the end of when I stopped eating half of it. I don’t know what brown thing I found in there. A raisin? A lump of sauce? Tamarind ? I don’t know. Over it. Threw it out. I do not recommend.

We grabbed dinner at this spot as a couple items stood out on their online menu. You order at the counter before sitting down. It was fairly early in the night (between 5 and 6) but the first 3 items we ordered were not available which was not the best way to start our meal. We shared pork dumplings to start which were packed with filling and very flavorful. I ordered the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles which had a good flavor and the noodles had a good consistency. It had a small kick of spice but thought it could have used a bit more lamb. I had the Milk Foam Strawberry slush with it which sounded really good but we both could barely taste the strawberry. My wife ordered the Sesame Chicken which came with sauce, rice and broccoli. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was good. She had the Mango Mountain CHA Real Fruit which had a strong mango flavor and she found it refreshing. Ordering at the counter gave us the impression of a fairly quick service restaurant but waited nearly 30 minutes for our food. It was nice to see that it was made to order (open kitchen) and lots of people were taking out food. Our drinks came out 5-10 minutes afterwards.

I gotta be honest, I was really let down by the beef Pho I got from you guys. As someone who loves a good bowl of Pho and tries different restaurants often, I was super excited to dig in. But man, right from the get-go, something seemed off. When I cracked open the container to heat up the broth, it smelled funky, not like the usual yummy aroma.

Anyway, I decided to give it a shot. But when I saw what was in the soup – big chunks of fat, weird-looking meatballs, and sad sprouts – I got even more skeptical. And when I finally took a sip, it was a disaster. The broth tasted like dirty socks... I got to be honest, I was really let down by the beef Pho I got from you guys. I tried to salvage it by tasting one of the meatballs, but it was like chewing on rubber. It made me feel sick, so I had to call it quits. Ended up tossing both servings and $33 down the drain. I thought about coming in to talk to you guys, but you're pretty far away from my place (1hr away from Calgary), and honestly, it wasn't worth the trip.

Just wanted to give you some feedback. Maybe the other stuff on your menu is better, but you might wanna take a look at the...
