Mixed Experience at UNA – Not Likely to Dine In Again This was my first time trying UNA, and unfortunately, the dine-in experience left much to be desired. While the atmosphere initially appeared inviting, the seating arrangement was disappointing. Being placed in an alcove surrounded by walls on three sides felt cramped and unwelcoming. Additionally, leftover plates from other tables were left nearby by servers, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Food Quality: A Letdown Arancini: These should be crisp on the outside, warm and creamy inside, with a flavorful filling that balances texture and taste. Sadly, UNA’s arancini lacked seasoning and were quite bland, falling short of these expectations. Quattro Carne Pizza: Despite being loaded with toppings, the pizza tasted more like an undercooked plain white loaf. The crust lacked the crispness and flavor that one would expect from a premium pizza. Value for Money: Disappointing Given UNA’s higher price point, the experience didn’t feel worth it. Both the food quality and the dining atmosphere failed to live up to the standard one would expect at this price range.

I’m not sure how this place has such a high rating because I was extremely disappointed. I got 2 pizza’s the pepperoni and sweet and Spicy prosciutto. Both pizza were undercooked, the pepperoni was somewhat warm and the pizza was floppy. The sweet and Spicy prosciutto, first off the Honey leaked through the box all over my lap, the pizza was so drenched in liquid the dough became soggy on-top of already being undercooked, the flavours were the only thing this pizza had going for it. Was extremely disappointed as it was very expensive for what we got and the reviews and pictures looked good… was not happy.

came here for the first time with friends! got a table for 5 easily around 6, and our server was soo attentive, the cups were tiny so she came by many many times filling up my water. service was amazing we got 3 pizzas to try - the 4 maggi, and margherita which were delicious!!! the mushroom one was a bit dry in my opinion. needs more cheese or something! the kale salad was a little bland, needed some sauce. the bacon was quite hard and tasteless. would not recommend overall it was a great place to eat and it would definitely be a good place to celebrate a birthday or something!!

Manager Earvin and his team are outstanding in every way! We've dined in twice: the first time was with just hubby and me, and the second time was with family (9 people).

The menu is extensive with options for gluten-free, meat, vegetarian, and vegan. For pizzas, we ordered the Ziti, Vegetarian, Mushroom, 4-Maggi, Chicken Pesto & Vegan. They were all scrumptious! Along with the pizzas, we enjoyed the fried garlic bread and watermelon salad. There's something for everyone here. The layout of the restaurant and the smaller tables allows them to accommodate any size group by reconfiguring the tables. It's a cozy, casual, comfortable atmosphere. The servers are very attentive, pleasant, and detail oriented. Earvin himself is very hands-on and can be seen helping out wherever it's needed. The bathrooms....the bathrooms are an experience. They are private, clean and accessible. When our group was there, they played the audio book 'Matilda'. Kids & adults really enjoy it!

If you haven't been yet, this is the best pizza restaurant in NW Calgary and you should add it to your list. I'd recommend making a reservation because it can get busy. We saw lineups both times that we dined in. There's street parking and also parkade parking if the street parking is filled up.

I'm already thinking about our next visit. Thanks...

UNA Pizza West is dangerous… in the best possible way. I came for a pizza and somehow left full, happy, and plotting my next visit before I even got to the car.

Their pizzas? Absolute perfection. Crispy crust with just the right amount of chew, fresh toppings, and flavour combos that make you question every frozen pizza you’ve ever eaten. The “Classic” is a go-to, but the “4-Maggi” might actually be life-changing. Cheese lovers, you’ve been warned.

The vibe is casual but classy, and the staff are always welcoming — they’ve nailed that balance of professional and laid-back. Bonus points for the solid wine list and the fact that they make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time.

Also… whoever decided to put chili oil on the table deserves a raise. Or a statue. Or both.

One of Calgary’s best pizza spots, hands down. Just don’t blame me when you “accidentally” eat the whole...
