TacoTime — Restaurant in Calgary

Staff is extremely disrespectful, rude, and slow. I've waited over 15 minutes for one singular meal at this location. Service has continually gotten worse over the past few months. Manager was deflecting every issue I brought up to him and refusing to take responsibility or apologize for the poor customer experience. He was extremely dismissive of my concerns, and allowed a female employee to raise her voice at me shouting "DO YOU WANT COLD FOOD?". When I asked for the district manager or owners contact information the manager laughed at me and told me he wasn't going to give it to me. I am absolutely sickened by the behaviour of the staff and manager of this location, and they all clearly need to be re-trained in how to speak to customers in Canada. We don't do disrespect like that here!! Fire your staff or make them take external customer service courses before they can return to work. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I would appreciate if a district manager or owner would reach out to me in regards to resolving the absolutely abhorrent way I was spoken to and treated for simply trying to raise my concerns to the manager. (who was sitting in the back of the restaurant on his phone with another employee while only one employee worked on orders. visibly on his phone, behind the open door, sitting down on a flipped bucket until I called him over.) Always been a fan of Taco Time since arriving to Canada in Saskatoon. Been to many a franchise and this one just isn't up to scratch with the service provided at many other of these restaurants. Always seems understaffed which leads to staff making errors or rushing things.

Been here twice now & the poutine was skimpy both times, incorrect drinks were poured vs what was asked and staff there won't work in the daily specials into combos, which I know shouldn't be expected but is common at other Taco Time locations. Plus staff here aren't as communicative and unhappy to accommodate your order.

The worst assembled Burrito Bowl ever, I usually eat at Quesada, however, this time tried Taco Time at the food court, I ordered a Burrito Bowl, the portion sizes were appalling, besides all the ingredients were just dumped into a bowl, without assembling it well. The countertop is actually facing against you, so you couldnt possibly see, how is your bowl made. I wasnt offered to upsize my order, nor ordered extra tacos, that I wanted. But since I was so super badly rushed, I even forgot to mention it. Perhaps, the staff could be a little more patient and / or better trained. I wish I had checked out the ratings before...
