O gentle hearts, lend me thine ears and appetites, For I hath wandered ‘neath neon moons and starless skies, To find where patties sizzle and sauces flow Like sonnets sung on summer’s breathless eve.
Lo! At Thy Burger Bastion did I dine, Where buns be pillowed soft as Juliet’s cheek, And meats, seared with the fire of a thousand stars, Did melt upon my tongue like whispered vows. The cheddar, aged as ancient scrolls of lore, Was laid with care upon the beef so bold— A union truer than Verona’s own doomed lovers.
The lettuce, crisp as morning’s first sweet sigh, Did dance 'twixt sauces spiced with passion’s flame. O fries, thou golden shards of heaven’s own feast, Salt-kissed and evermore delightful!
The host, with countenance fair and manner grave, Did greet with warmth that knew no idle pride. And all the while, sweet melodies did play, Not loud nor bold, but soft as lullaby.
Would I return? Aye, a thousand times aye! For where else doth the tongue rejoice so bright, And mortal hunger find immortal balm?
Thus do I raise my voice in praise sincere: If ever thou dost crave love served on a plate, Then hie thee hence to Thy Burger Bastion, dear.

Read moreFive Guys has always been one of my favourite fast food spots, but this particular visit left me extremely disappointed. I stopped in to grab milkshakes for my family on my birthday and ordered four milkshakes, all with extra whipped cream.
After 15 minutes, only two milkshakes had been made—and they were left sitting on the counter for about 10 minutes while other customers’ orders continued to be prepared and served ahead of ours. Even after 20 more minutes, the remaining two milkshakes still hadn’t been made, and our order was never called out.
There was no clear reason for the delay, and it felt like our order was simply being ignored. When we finally asked for a refund, it took nearly 10 more minutes because the staff didn’t seem trained or empowered to handle customer issues properly. In total, we wasted around 35 minutes.
Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially on what should have been a special day. I won’t be returning to this particular Five...
Read moreI'm sad to say that I will probably never go back here again. I have been going to five guys about once a month for a long time, the tables are rarely clean which is understandable during dinner rush but today they weren't that busy and there wasn't a single clean table. The real reason I won't be returning is because the burgers shrunk considerably and the price for 3 meals went up by almost $6 compared to last month when it cost just under $54 for 2 bacon cheese burgers and 1 little bacon cheese burger with a large fries, large drink, gravy and a milkshake. This time it was the same order except I got a regular pop instead of a large and it cost me almost $60 and they messed up 2 burgers and tried to argue that I ordered them that way. They did eventually replace the 2 burgers but I can't justify paying more money...
