I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Y-Feng Boba Tea during my first year as a student, and I can confidently say it was one of the most disappointing outings I’ve had. Right from the start, the place felt lifeless it was completely empty, with no music, no customers, and barely any staff around. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting, with a sterile, almost abandoned vibe that made me question whether it was even open. I decided to give it a chance, thinking maybe the drinks would make up for the lack of energy, but I was dead wrong. I ordered a regular brown sugar boba and was shocked to see the price it was outrageously expensive for what it was, especially on a student budget. When I finally got my drink, the disappointment only deepened. The boba pearls were overcooked and mushy, and the tea itself tasted watered down and artificial, lacking any depth or freshness. It was genuinely hard to finish. I expected at least decent quality for the price I paid, but this felt like a complete ripoff. There was no sense of care or quality, and the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth literally and figuratively. I wouldn’t recommend yi fang Boba Tea to anyone, especially not students who deserve better places to unwind and enjoy a treat without...
Read moreThis is unfortunately the 2nd time now this location has served me frozen sago. I tried to privately give them feedback the first time this happened but the female staff completely dismissed me on the phone and tried to gaslight me saying it wasn’t frozen 🤯 Today, I got the mango pomelo sago again, only to find frozen bits in there once more. I get this drink pretty regularly at other Yi Fang locations and it is never served this way?
Edit: Whether it’s the sago or the pomelo, something is being served frozen. What’s more disappointing is that the business doesn’t seem open to receiving feedback or making things right (they replied to this review and once again said they weren’t serving frozen sago but didn’t try to address the concern). Wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreThis bubble tea spot has totally become my go-to! What sets them apart is their commitment to using organic ingredients and real fruits—no artificial powders or syrups here. Plus, they offer milk options, making it easy to choose a healthier drink. Some of my personal faves are the Caramel Pudding Black Tea Latte, Peach Fruit Tea, Brown Sugar Pearl Black Tea Latte, and the Taro Milk Tea with actual taro—so good! Oh, and don’t miss out on their pancakes. The Custard Cream Pancakes are a must-try. I love that the staff are always super helpful when I’m unsure about which toppings pair best with certain drinks—they never steer me wrong! Once you try their bubble tea, you’ll find it hard to go back to places that rely on powders and artificial stuff. Highly...
