Saw this place online and figured I’d give it a try, me and a few friends walked in and it took a while to even be greeted. Our server came over and was extremely impatient with us. We had never been there before so the menu and drinks were unfamiliar to all of us. When we asked, we received one word answers, and at one point she actually said “just look at the menu and read it. I’ll come back” terrible first impression.
When it came to the menu the wing selection was very small and didn’t seem that appealing. We ordered the dill pickle wings and the wasabi ranch wings. We figured that since it was so highly rated they would be worth the wait. But unfortunately they were not. The dill pickle wings were soggy and not tasty at all. The wasabi wings were very odd and not flavourful at all. It was like I dipped a soggy piece of bread In watered down wasabi sauce. After trying one of each, we asked for our server to come over so we could explain the issue. As we told her she started tapping her fingers on the table. And said “well that’s how we make them can i get you something else ?” We decided since it was getting late, plus we were starving. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to try something else. We ordered the chicken club and the Steve Martin. Nothing special. Over priced, soggy bread, flavourless chicken and what seemed to be not fresh toppings at all.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The prices are way up there for the wings and the sandwiches just aren’t that great. You’d be better off going...
Read moreNo issue being seated. A few of us at the table ordered the Kentucky, which is a "spicy" chicken sandwich. Not spicy at all, very little flavour. It honestly tastes like a cheese slice on a bun with breaded chicken. Had to add hot sauce from the table just to get some flavour on the sandwich. In the end it was very disappointing. None of the sandwiches at our table were the same size. Mine was the smallest, could not have been more than 3 ounces of pounded flat chicken breast with some breading on it.
What's worse is a guy 2 tables down ordered the same sandwich and his was spilling out of the bun. An actual chicken breast and he had to eat it with a knife and fork. For $16 I felt quite ripped off, you actually get more chicken on a McChicken than I got on this sandwich, which is pretty sad. Also, I maybe got 15 fries.
The service was too fast, literally 5 minutes after we ordered the food was on the table, making me think it was pre-made. I have no proof of this, but it's how I feel. To prepare food for 7 in that short of time frame, combined with the inconsistency of the food, the cooks can't be that good to get the orders out that quick. It had to be pre-made.
Another guy at our table ordered a normal burger. The first time it came out it was burned black, so he sent it back. The next burger came burned black on the outside and raw in the middle. He sent the food back again, asking for it to be taken off the bill.
I can't say much about this place, other than I...
Read moreWon't go back. Went there for Saturday brunch on a recommendation. The place was busy but certainly nowhere near full. I sat at the bar, but when I received my food I moved to a table because friends were on the way. After I moved, I asked the waitress for cultery, which never came. I had to get up and go to the bar for cutlery, which eventually came while my food sat and got cold. I asked for jam for the toast which never came, and I was never offered more hot water for my tea once I'd left the bar. My two friends arrived and ended up not ordering because no one ever came to take their order. When one of them eventually went to ask the bartender for service he snipped that he wasn't their server, but made no effort to get the server for us or inform her that we'd been sitting there waiting for service the entire time. The food itself was lacking; the over easy eggs were over medium, there were three cheap pieces of bacon, and there was no sliced tomatoes or fruit as described by the menu. I also ordered white toast and was given marble rye. When I left, I stood at the bar waiting to pay for about 10 minutes while the bartender did all his drink orders. I considered walking out without paying just to see it would finally get their attention, but I doubt they'd have even noticed. We will never...
