We have been loyal customers for a while now, but was given worst customer service Ever today! I tried to place an order over the phone only to have the lady first put me on hold for 5 mins, i hung up n called back to only listen to her laugh at me like i made a joke, then when i requested to speak to someone else, she hung up the phone, i called again and she picked up and hung up.

I actually went to speak to the owner, and turns out she was the owner! (or so they say). She refused to acknowledge her behaviour, ignored me completely. Then she went over to seated customers to chat about me and laugh POINTING TOWARDS ME!

WOW!!

SHAME ON THOSE GENTLEMAN, BECAUSE IF THEY GOT TREATED LIKE THAT I AM SURE THEY WOULDN'T BE LAUGHING.

The gentleman from the kitchen makes the excuse that it's a language barrier, and busy, really??? So when i requested to speak to someone else to place my order, i get hung up on!?

I work at Stacked Pancake House, and we never allow our behaviour to be the reason to disppoint a customer. Our customers are what makes our business!

It is one thing that an employee behaves disappointingly but to have the owner themselves behave as such. I can only then imagine employee work ethics.

Worst owner/manager! This is a customer based environment, it is NOT ACCEPTABLE to treat ANY customer with such DISGUSTING DEMEANOR on phone or in person. And insult their presence with other customers.

Sad that this is what people will pay for.

WOW this restaurant is amazing !!

First time our group tried Hakka food and what a lovely experience :) Probably some of our favourite food in the world now.

We decided to try a few dishes and take the leftovers home. The dishes were very affordable (apx $11.99/$12.99 for a dish that could feed 2-4 people depending on how hungry they are) AND they are so wonderfully delicious. You can adjust the spice level to accommodate your preference but regardless the flavour is there. There are many options to choose from (noodles, rice, curry) as well as accommodations for dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free). We tried three dishes and an appetizer; Szechuan Fried Rice, Hakka Noodles, Szechuan Manchurian Balls, and a stir-fried paneer appetizer. All the food was excellent and had distinct flavours. Highly recommend the stir-fried paneer appetizer and Szechuan fried rice!

The restaurant was empty when we went in and had calm piano playing in the background. The atmosphere still felt calming when it got busier which was nice.
