Decided to try this restaurant while visiting Charlottetown based on the great reviews. The waiter was very nice and accommodated us with a high chair for our baby. I don't eat pork and had asked if they could change the pork vermicelli for chicken and the waiter said no, so be prepared that they will not accommodate dietary restrictions. I ordered the beef stir fry and my husband ordered the vermicelli with pork and spring rolls. When we received our plates my husband 's pork vermicelli only had 3 small pieces of pork. We have never had this little meat in our many times eating at Vietnamese restaurants in the past. The beef stir fry was very chewy, with tons of fatty pieces to the point that I got grossed out trying to eat it. The only thing that was great was the chicken fried rice that we got for our kids and I ended up eating some of it since my own food was horrible. Both were good, but different from how it tastes in places in Alberta. There was a hint of a different spice I couldn't place in the chicken dish. I liked it, it was just different. They brought chopsticks that were metal. I'm get by with bamboo ones, but the metal were harder to keep hold of things. The lady noticed and brought me a knife and fork without my asking.

I was getting a bit over all the lobster rolls/burger and chips, so decided to come here - a little away from the tourist crowds along the waterfront and Queen St. The Chicken Pho/Chicken Noodle Soup was delicious, as were the Fried Vegetarian Spring Rolls and the Icecream with puréed avocado (definitely worth trying if you haven’t had it before). Also very affordable!
Absolutely worth trying whilst in...
