This place used to be my absolute favorite spot for almost two years since it opened, but lately, it's been a complete disappointment. The quality of work and value has been going downhill, and I am not one to tolerate such mediocrity.

To make matters worse, they have forgotten part of my order on not one, but two separate occasions. And don't even get me started on the prices - $5 for a single taco? Who do they think they are? A five-star restaurant? It's a complete joke. What exactly are they providing me that's worth $17 for just three tacos? It's absurd.

Tacos used to be $12.50 you goons. Quesabirra used to be $15.50. What the heck!

Clearly, the owners have no clue about menu pricing in comparison to other restaurants. A more reasonable price range for tacos would be $3-$4 per taco. On top of that, the restaurant's appearance is atrocious. The food is decent, but it's certainly not worth the exorbitant prices they're charging. If I'm paying that much, I better be getting at least six tacos.

To add insult to injury, their Quesabirria is one of the most expensive I've seen, priced at a ridiculous $22. It's as if they don't value their loyal customers who have been supporting them from the beginning. To the owners: shape up or risk losing your...

They charge tip without telling you. I came in with my boyfriend to order two orders of flautas and a beer, you are meant to order at the counter which is perfectly fine, but when I was handed the machine to pay i saw the total and I didn’t get the tip option which was weird so I tapped and as soon as it went through the machine showed that I was charged for the food and the lady had put a 15% tip on it without even asking me, I asked her if that was the case because she didn’t give me a receipt either, she said, very rudely, that it was automatically set in the system and that it was the “mandatory” percentage which is a lie since it was only two people and only parties of 6 or more pay for a mandatory gratuity. Before she lied to my face I was going to let her keep the tip I just wanted to make sure I’d seen correctly but after she lied I asked to cancel my order and give me a refund, she was very rude through all of it. We ended up going to the Mexican restaurant next to this one and the service was great so I would recommend...

If you're looking for LEGIT Mexican food, it will be difficult to find anything close in the Fraser Valley.... that is until you walk into this small hole in the wall in downtown Langley.

Whenever I'm craving 'homemade-style' Mexican food (which is often for me), I take a drive to here. You walk into a very unassuming 'cafe-feel' room, but immediately you are overwhelmed by the amazing smells coming from the kitchen, followed almost immediately by a welcome call out from the staff.

There's nothing fancy here - just excellent and fresh ingredients put together in a great meal. And the price? Well hard to be that. $10 for a tamale & enchilada with rice and beans.

Staff is fantastic as well.

You have 3 choices for Mexican within 2 blocks - we prefer the food at this one.

PS, start with the taquitos and ask for an extra dip (you're going to need/want it :) )

Sorry, forgot to take pic of the food, I dove in as soon as it arrived and only remembered when there were...

This was one of the smaller of the three Mexican restaurants on the same strip, but one of the better in terms of food. While it's a small restaurant with slightly higher prices, the food quality is good. They work hard and are very polite to provide you with prompt service. I haven't had such good carne asada since eating in the United States; it's been difficult to find a good quality, and while food preparation varies by persons region, this one was tender and flavorful, whereas other restaurants are bland and tough to eat. The parking at the strip is difficult to find, but it's a nice little walk if you have to park further away; I've returned many times despite the higher prices. It's worthwhile.

If you want some seriously authentic Mexican food then this is the place. The interior isn't the fanciest, but it's cozy and simple. Our food was made by the cutest grandmas who you can tell put a lot of pride and effort into their dishes. We had the pork enchilada, jumbo chicken burrito, tamales, and salsa chips - our favourite was definitely the enchilada. The salsa was also very fresh and light. And their homemade hot sauce is a must try. Prices are cheap compared to other places. Definitely stop by if you're in town, you won't regret it.
