We were super excited to try this new spot after reading about it in a Facebook group. The ambiance was nice -- it has a large interior with a decent amount of seating but no tables larger than a 4-top. The layout could be improved as when more than a few people arrive it clutters up the door/cash area. There is a large variety of pizzas by the slice available on display. We started with a single slice of Detroit IL Tricolore ($8.50), and ordered three New York-style pizzas, an 18" cheese ($27), 14" Italian Sausage ($26) because they were out of our first choice meatball, and a 14" crab ($31). The Detroit was by far our fave. The crust was light and fluffy and the cheese and sauces were flavourful. The crust piece had that tasty detroit burnt cheesy edge which was delish. The crab pizza came recommended and it was good but super rich. First piece was the best but after that it was just too much. Had very much of a crab Rangoon taste to it with a subtle kick. The fresh dill was a delicious add. The cheese pizza was nice and flavourful but super greasy. Like little rivers of grease after it sat for a minute. All of us had to use napkins to dab off the top of the pizza before eating. The sausage pizza was overall bland. We did get it without the sweet onions, but that shouldn't have been the only source of flavour for the pizza. Overall each of the New York-style pizzas were underdone. The dough had a decent flavour to it, but was almost soggy/doughy yet the top crust was seemingly well cooked. Service was friendly enough but we asked for our pizzas for here and they came in boxes. Not the end of the world but when you're paying the very premium price for pizza that they charge here it should come out how you asked for it. We eat a LOT of pizza and this place was by far the most expensive place we've visited, but definitely not the best. Drinks and extras were very expensive too. $3.50 for a bottle of water and the dips/sauces were all around $4 each where most other restaurants give them complimentary when you dine in. If we come again, will definitely ask for the pizza to be well done as that would likely improve some of the quality issues.

Local Pizza shop opened up and my wife and I were super excited to try it as we are lovers of Pizza and have eaten it all over the world. We got one slice of Aloha, one slice of Pepperoni. That came to $11 after tax. I told the girl I wanted to select my slices and that was met with shock and dissatisfaction. As I selected my slices she struggled to take a single slice from each pizza. It was honestly hard to watch. She even at one point used a dirty kitchen rag that she was holding the pan with and touched my slice with it. The two slices came. BARELY warm. The sauce is easily the saltiest pizza sauce I have ever had in my entire life. We both needed to go drink water immediately! We asked for a knife so we could cut our slices in half so we can share…as she forgot to do it when I asked at the counter. We were told that they don’t have cutlery. We were forced to rip the slices with our bare hands like animals. The bottom of the pizza was burned and that overpowered the majority of the flavour that was accosting you with sodium. Horrible pizza. Horrible experience. Won’t be coming back. Avoid this place at all costs.

🍕🚫👵 Don’t Tell Nonna is slingin’ slices that might just start a family feud… but honestly, it’s worth the drama. This downtown Langley gem is where New York hustle meets Detroit edge, and the result is pure, unapologetic pizza perfection. Crispy, cheesy, saucy, and served with attitude (the good kind). Whether you’re into that classic NYC fold-or-die life or the thick, caramelized crust of Detroit-style dreams… They’ve nailed it. The vibe? Cool but not pretentious. Like a hip cousin opened a pizza joint and somehow made it feel both gritty and cozy. The staff are friendly, the branding’s on point, and the menu has serious “how am I supposed to choose just one?” energy We’re talking pizza that makes you pause mid-bite just to say “oh wow” to the table. (And then contemplate ordering another one. For research.) It’s got date night energy, girls’ night potential, and solo-lunch-in-peace vibes all rolled into one. Honestly, if Nonna finds out… she’ll probably just ask for a slice. @courtneyoffthecharts

“Don’t Tell Nonna” is a new pizza place on the one-way street in Langley that’s definitely worth a try!

We ordered the 14” pepperoni and 14” truffle pizza to try. They were both well cooked, and tasted good! The pepperoni was a bit more greasy than the truffle, but the pizza held up well and tasted good overall. The crust tasted really good too!

The atmosphere was great - Nice and clean, and the restaurant was really quiet on a Sunday around 6 pm (likely due to the current construction on the one-way street). There was no issue finding a table.

The customer service was great - Really friendly staff and answered any questions we had. One suggestion is to offer some more “standard” topping options that other places offer. For example, my wife was disappointed that olives were not an add-on option. Peppers would be another example.

Other than that, we really enjoyed the pizza and will return in the future. There’s so many pizza places around, but “Don’t Tell Nonna” stands out and is one of the better pizza...
